Devious Methods is the first beer from them in a while that I haven't cared much for. Sort of a nothing beer if I'm being honest.

Had my last Pressed Toffee last night. Still delicious. Great thick mouthfeel, nice hint of salt and toffee for days on the end. Pressed is so good.

 

Hot take: Bistro>Nectar.

And they're, so far, the only place around here succeeding at the elusive pastry-fruit slushy

 

Disagree on that. I think Bistro's are good but Nectar has been my favorite by a lot. I will say that it seems like Bistros actually have more ABV to them. Either Nectar is hiding it extremely well, or they just are 3% fruited beers.

 

Someone should ask 450 North to test them.

I was too late on the new Double Nectar, so I'll probably run over there whenever they tap it. And it looks like they put on a Grapefruit Radler for the hot weather.

 

Yup, we got one. I think it’s the only chain clothing outlet out here lol.

Alright, I need another big Covid impact to the beer industry to shut down production again for a while to let my wallet catch up...

 

Screw the wallet. I need to take a beer break so I can shed some pounds. Unfortunately I have a ton of beer in my fridge.

My first thought was "re-canning old Creme", but hey man, maybe this is actually good! I'll be going the single can route on this one though.
