New Province Orange Creamsicle Sour Ale

 

Seriously, this is my mostest favoritest yellow beer now...Old Nation Boss Tweed. Wins every time. Not too acidic, not too pithy, sweet juiciness, full mouthfeel, good can size and enough ABV for a fat, old, seasoned BA.

Damn, I absolutely love his music - makes you forget about all the bullshit we're going through in this world. Freaking brilliant the way he arranges all these different instruments, I love the percussion.

 

LMAO...we never just “let” our kids win at games because they were young. Maybe that’s unpopular or “mean,” but they learned how to handle defeat with grace and learned how to get better if they didn’t like losing. Now they’re grown and responsible, so it seems to have worked out just fine.

Two weeks ago, I nearly bought this on vinyl at Best Buy for $25. Last weekend, my in laws had a box of records from their neighbor who passed away. So I ended up getting this one (and a couple more) for free. Gave it a spin tonight.

 

Drinking a Double Daisy Cutter while watching MLB practice games. Good and bittah, I won’t even attempt to compare it to the regular as they are vastly different beers. See ya’ll later this week, cheers!

Hawkmoth Azacca Obscurity NE IPA, 8.1% ABV from the crowler, two local beers in a row

 

I’m jealous. Fully Saturated Double Daisy Cutter ran out quickly over here, so you’re a lucky guy. Cheers man.

 

This is supposed to be a tart pineapple IPA. I don’t get IPA when I taste it; nevertheless, it’s still pretty good.

 

We let our kids win on occasion. In the 10 or so games we've played, I let him win once. However, my kids were terrible losers when they were really young. (They're 7 and 9 now.) So we beat them all the time until they learned how to lose with grace. We're a bit more relaxed now, but hoping for the same outcome you got. The real reason I won't let my son beat me at chess is because I think he's going to be better than me. I've been playing since I was his age, but he's showing really understanding for a 7-year old who's only played 10 games. I already bought him a chess book that he was reading today.

 

A crowler of 9% IPA...has me on a fast track to nowhere good. At least the beer is solid. Hope you've been well, my friend.
