Holy shit. FedEx dropped off some boxes, courtesy of @FlintB, and I think one of these boxes may have put the driver on medical leave. It says 40 lbs, but it felt heavier. Even had my wife try and lift it just for shits and giggles and always up for a challenge she did lift it, but then almost dropped.

    Box 1 contained:

    Homes T-Shirt
The Cherry Hut Preserves and Sour candies
Laurentian Bottle open (perfect timing and it has a corkscrew and we broke ours this weekend)
    Speciation All together
    Speciation Incipient
    Transient Bark Star
    Transient Hodag
Homes Tidal (collaboration with Vitamin Sea, friends I’ve known for years before they started a brewery)
    Homes Same Same Different
    Homes Cynosure Guava Guava Blackberry
    Homes Weave
    Homes Soaker
    Homes Dub Passion
    Midnight Sun Artic Devil (want)
    Kuhnhenn 4D (long time want)
    Austin Bros Triple Berry Gose
Schramm’s Black Agnes (every Thanksgiving my bro and I put together a beer menu to pair with each course and app and desert. We tend to save our best bottles throughout the year for this. Not kidding, I was going to reach out to Brian in Sept to see if he could get me this for Thanksgiving. God damn!)
    Schramm’s Red Agnes
    Schramm’s Bramble
Blind Beer (note that I’ve had before)

One guy didn’t survive the trip (Rake Beer Project Upside Down). Smelt good
    [IMG]

Box 2 is god damn ridiculous

I’m lost for words. These beers/mead, food, and swag are incredible. Blown away. I can’t express enough gratitude Brian. Blown away. Thank you, can’t wait to dig in.

Another from @Justonemore91 . Ray, digging this one, as well. Not overly sour with some good juice.
Thanks Ray! Also, check your porch.

Before dipping into the ridiculous boxes from @FlintB I needed to tick off the blind beer. It has a note on it “you’ve had this before...”

I get some licorice on first sips. Hmm, tasting some spices like it’s a winter ale of sorts. Based on the hint and the winter ale I had last week in the LIF box from Brian... I’m guessing that Dark Horse Elf Wonter beer.

    Hahaha, thanks Brian!

Damn @FlintB!!! Just crushing people!!!! BTW that Rake Beer Project Universe of Dark & Diamonds is a really unique beer, big pastry stout flavors but not too sweet and super drinkable.

Some of these hits give me a healthy dose of anxiety. Sorry I missed the Zoom, hopefully catch the next one. Got Plamped right before heading to work. Thank you Jordan.

@JayWhitson, The Montana Madman, sent me an unexpected, but greatly appreciated box

I was a little nervous at first due to the condition, but perplexed by the cleaning fluid smell:

Well, it turns out there must‘ve been a wet, leaky box nearby. All of the beers are intact:

Thanks, Jay! I’m psyched to dig in!

Last box of the round is going out as a LiF, so here it goes. No double forwarding and might be some doubles if I sent you a box already, but I would and have had each one more than once.

I never drank in high school but my first experience with craft beer was at my father’s house. Started stopping in before turning 21 back in ‘98 and would have a beer and shoot the shit with the old man. Regulars included Rolling Rock, Heineken and St. Paully Girl, as I was puffing tough on a regular basis and were very weedy themselves. My current wheelhouse are DIPA’s and Imperial Stouts (I know, completely shocking and not stereotypical at all ). The seeds of this evolution were sewn with a pale ale and porter that were my favorites. First purchase on my birthday was a 6 pack of said porter for $4.19. My buddy and I had one each after work and proceeded to puff tough while playing video games until 2am.

First person to name the brewery... go
