Mecktoberfest imo is the best beer that Old Meck makes.

The one I had from skull mechanics was tasty. Does it get distro?

Might have to seek out Victory Festbier again based on the responses. Haven’t had that in about 5 years, but remember not being impressed.

I will probably seek out Yuengling Oktoberfest because it will be like $6-7 per 6er.

Skull Mechanics distributes some of their beer, but usually only on draft, that I’m aware of. I’ll have to look out for that one, as I haven’t had it yet.

Great Lakes Oktoberfest is a long time fave but Saucy Brew Works makes a very nice Festbier. I liked Avery's The Kaiser but didn't they stop making it (I bought an old bottle a year or two ago: not good!).

? Is that taproom only or just limited distro? I know I had seen something about it but I didn't realize it was a year round märzen. Their Oktoberfest is a Scottish Ale.

I like Rahr and Real Ale and I liked Shiner's version a few years ago. Live Oak Oaktoberfest is always good.

Hopefully Altstadt's Oktoberfest is distributed up here this year.

I'm going off the reservation here (big surprise) with Oktobot 3000, a rye barrel-aged imperial Märzen from Lion Bridge Brewing, Cedar Rapids, IA. Oh, yeah!

I really hate to be repetitive, but, Chuckanut makes nothing less awesome examples of most Lagers.

    So, I vote Cnut Marzen.

it’s one of their canned beers available in grocery stores, but I don’t know if Saint Arnold distributes it in the DFW area. It’s very good, really on point for the style.

    Amen!

Last year I purchased a case (two 12-packs; two separate purchases). I am contemplating making the 2020 Oktoberfest season as being a solely Sly Fox Oktoberfest season (as regards packaged beer). Maybe just drink a few draft pints of other brands.

    Cheers to Sly Fox!

Zero Gravity’s was really good last year, but I think they only distribute limited amounts.

Never saw it around down in NJ. Maybe with them expanding more it’ll come down here this year. I’d definitely give that one a try.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Jack's Abby's Copper Legend. An excellent märzen/Oktoberfest
