    Köstritzer Pale Ale. For whatever reason I was expecting to be disappointed but this is pretty good. Big malty backbone and a solid amount of hop bitterness to balance it out. Reminds me a lot of Hop Devil - although I haven’t had that in years so I could be off.

    I'm a philanthropist. Here's the thing, though. There was a time I was bedridden for 3 months, and it didn't go well for me. That really hurt me. Therefore, I have spent every day since trying to claim retribution. Like my mother told me the other day: Hunter, no matter what you do, it will never be enough.     No Label Brewing Up Up and Away, hazy IPA, out of Katy, TX - 30 miles west of Houston.

    This limited seasonal is super good, floral and fruity, with a mildly sweet aftertaste.

    Just tried Maltings Irish Ale, a small batch Irish Red Ale from Sullivan's Brewing in Kilkenny, Ireland. Always moved by the following song, named for that community.
