Now here goes Dovetail creating an entirely new style, is there anything they can’t or won’t do?! First time since March being able to drink on site, granted it’s the parking lot and not my seat at the bar!

Call this a heavy Kolsch or call this a light Bock and you are not wrong either way!

This wax is awesome!!! Almost $40 a bottle, but well worth it. Ice cold Stash to help with the waxing of the car.

This is a fairly typical tropical fruit punch NEIPA that is juicy enough, but a little one-dimensional.

Since I can't really post pictures on the go, here's some stuff I had last Saturday as well:

Cantillon Saint Lamvinus (no picture): Great balance of fruit, strong, tannic oak notes and light funk, with a dry and vinous character.

Cantillon Magic Lambic: Dominated by a vibrant fruitiness and lacking any distinct estery, funky or woody notes, but very refreshing with a good balance of sweetness and acidity.

Goose Island BCBS Proprietor's Edition 2016: An incredible beer with a sublime balance of rich cocoa and maple notes, lighter chili peppers and an intense barrel presence.

Monkish Dope Kaleidoscope: Pretty good NEIPA, but honestly no better than some German NEIPAs I've had.

3 Sons Baby Scoop: Thin, overly sweet and very artificial tasting, pretty terrible.

This is a new one for me. Seems that it's only recently distributed here in GA. Can't go wrong with a good helles.

Omnipollo Zodiak IPA, which has become somewhat of a go to for me the past few months. Swedish Brewery, but brewed in Toronto, Ontario. Have become quite a fan of the few IPA’s and Imperial Stouts I’ve had from them, but have yet to encounter another style. Cheers.

Intergalactic Warrior from Toppling Goliath. If you want to keep toppling Goliath, you are going to have to do better than this. Relying on a hard-core fan-base will never be enough. You want to market to the East Coast, step it up, because we shall not drink things like this. Meh! O in Español, ¡no buena! Dare I say, not special, not even particularly good. And not "aged" enough to explain the difference.

Stay Safe, Don't Believe the Marketing, and Sláinte, mo chairde. Ugh!

Really happy to see this post, that they have that outdoor seating in the back of the brewery - hope they are doing OK at least for now. Cheers, that looks delicious!

Cheers my friend! That was a very unique brew for damn sure (similar to the Maibock) but the follow up Hefe draft pour is just pure heaven!! First chance I had since the limited parking lot parties started!

Howdy, and back with a new one I'll review shortly on the new beer weekend thingy.
TRVE Heathen Reign, a mixed culture golden sour, aged on Colorado chokecherries. More of a wild (farmhouse) tart beer than a sour, but another TRVE coming up soon (also new).

Excellent beer offerings in Germany today! OK pours in Chicago, second today is Half Acre Fully Saturated Double Daisy Cutter, reviewed in full in the NBS/NBW thread.

    Bottom line:
    1. Daisy Cutter > Double Daisy Cutter > Fully Saturated Double Daisy Cutter.
    2. FSDDC bears little to no resemblance beyond bitterness to Daisy Cutter.
    3. Save your money and buy a 12 pack of OG DC over a four pack of FSDDC.

    Sticking with 1978:

If someone tells you FSDDC = Tree House Julius, as Bruce sings in this version, "Baby's been lyin'."

First sit down brewery experience in 4.5 months! Hop Culture in Colchester CT. Look at the social distancing! Big Surr NEIPA is mine in the foreground. To the right my son is drinking Off Duty Employee Saison and wife has her usual Pilsner variety, Think Piece. All that and lobster rolls from a truck!
