    My buddy owned a Harley dealership in Mansfield back in the year of the small potato. We go there for a nice city garden. Kingwood Center Gardens. Beautiful place. Small world but I wouldn’t want to paint it - Stephen Wright.

    This is a rather enjoyable Black IPA with some distinct roasted malt, chocolate and chili notes, although the bitter resinous hops seem a little muted, which is probably due to this being one week away from it's best-by date, so between 6-12 months old.

    Being at home all summer, I’ve been drinking down my “cellar” too. Still have a run of Bigfoot, and I keep adding to my 120s. I’m going to work on my Avery’s next...Cheers!

    I'm watching the game. I was thinking to myself that while CP3 is highly regarded, when it comes to the history of the game, he probably won't get the real respect he deserves. He's a Hall of Famer no doubt, but other names will always get uttered before his. He's one the smartest PGs I've ever seen, period. He sees the game differently.

    Back on another lovely beer-share day here on my front porch, and with another new one:
    TRVE's Jewel Throne, another interesting mixed culture sour aged on Colorado apricots. 5.5% and completely convincing.
    This one shines and puckers a little brighter than the last chokecherry one. Like a new world gueuze with apricots. More soon on the new beer weekend after I have considered it a bit more. Cheers! Hope you're all having a decent weekend.

    That's a great album! It was released in '78 and when the Kinks came to the USA to support it, I was fortunate to be at the first show of the tour, which was in Bloomsburg, PA, in February '79. We sat in the second row. It was fabulous! I'm a huge Kinks fan.
