Dark Horse 4 Elf Party

I am in the same boat.
If one has the $$$, is this a difficult goal to achieve at this event?

 

Note to the first timers: don't get too excited at the list and think you need to show up super early. Even if people max out all of their allotments, there is enough for 225+ people on nearly everything. Last year, by 8:30 pm, you could still get nearly everything from the list. Majority of people don't have the cash to get everything, so it lasts a while.

 

Tons of people were buying one case or much less of BB Plead and very few were getting full allotments. I don't expect much to change in that regard. So much beer to go around here... can't wait!

anyone from chicago willing to mule me back a four pack of bb plead? i'm sure i'll have something to trade for it, or i can reimburse plus toss you some homebrew or a random bottle or something. also i'll be making a trip up to wisconsin soon and i could pick up some new glarus or other wisconsin exclusive.

i really want to go to this but i have a prior commitment for saturday. sigh. there's always next year.

 

Does anyone remember if the prices include tax and deposit or if that is on top of the listed prices?

 

I believe they included all of that, but I may be mistaken.

 

I feel like it was part of the price too, but can't remember for sure. Trying to get a list together and make sure I have enough money to cover it all is fun.

 

weird that regular 4 Elf has no limit. whomever from Chicago is first in line, dont go buying all 180 cases now.l

 

4 Elf isn't that good. I bought a four pack last year because my girlfriend likes it.

 

Haha that's what I was thinking. Some asshole (from Chicago, of course) is going to buy them all and we wont get any. Then I remembered it wasn't that great and I just smirked to myself that the asshole would be stuck with 180 cases of mediocre beer.

 

wow, I really liked it, granted it was a four pack I had like 2 or 3 years ago. I thought it was a pretty good winter warmer, maybe time has warped my sensibilities.

Someone in metro Detroit should hook it up with a ride =). My friends couldn't get off of work/didn't have enough interest it seems. I'll bring the party ha.

DH edited the event to show that BBM29 is in 375 ml bottles.

 

At least its more than 12 ounces.

I'm basically in the same boat as tinypyramids. Would love a 4-pack of BB plead and a bottle of Monster 29 and/or BB Monster 29 (although I realize with the limits on those there's not as much capacity for muling). If someone from Chicago wants to mule, I can reimburse plus add a Wisconsin exclusive or some Surly Furious. Or, I could grab some Revolution Straightjacket if you want some of that and you can't make it to that event.
