Enter Night from the Arrogant Consortia (I'm still going to think of it as Stone) -- it's a perfectly fine Pilsner, but it's not standing out. Seems a bit over the top on bitterness for the style. Totally drinkable, though.

It may be the water in Middletown but you can usually pick an Equilibrium IPA blind. It has a certain unmistakable taste.

 

Found a couple of these in the beer fridge left over from St. Patrick's Day. Sláinte!

 

Imprint My Morning Juice IPA w/ passionfruit. Heard great things about this brewery when it comes to fruited beers, especially their Schmoojee series. A good friend of mine gifted me this. Basically passionfruit juice in a pillowy soft hazy IPA body. Nothing much in terms of hops. Pretty one dimensional, but the passion fruit is authentic and refreshing. Like the name suggests, this would be a good breakfast beer.

I just bought an Elysian 6/pk BOGO at Publix last week, and while not thrilled with the Contact Haze, I like SD well enough to drink it on the cheap. Today, the liquor store and the TW have pallets of SD, BB date 13/Dec/20, on the floor on sale for $7.49/6 pk, which is $4.49 off of retail...is something going on with Elysian, other than it sent too much beer to SWFL and can’t move it?

 

In the interest of easier relocating, I've decided to start drinking down my cellar. To that end I'm having some 2019 BCBS, I've had a 2015 bottle before, so I'm interested to see how different it is fresh.

 

This beer suits me well, in addition to @LarryV and @Danmullens1! We recently had a Zoom meeting to discuss some guitar riffs, and we discussed how annoying it is when your bangs get out of control, and you can't even see what you are playing on the guitar.

Started out with a Vliet from Threes Brewing. Something new I saw on the shelf in CT and it did not disappoint. Similar to Fox Farm Gather but really enjoyed the restrained bitterness that allowed the malt to dominate.
Second beer was an Oxbow Farmhouse Pale Ale, posted in the Saison thread. Was slightly underwhelmed with that beer.
Last one for the night comes from my usual brewery. Have a good night!
