At least in San Diego almost no B4k got here. Bine and Vine reported some for sale with the owner saying the production was something like 1/4th 3k which is odd to me.

Didn't get any and loved 3K

Highly recommended you don't trade the 17'. It's the best vintage since b1 and doesn't get any love in the trade world. It's drinking amazing right now. If that doesnt sway you these could easily pull either of those bottles which you'll be hugely disappointed in comparison to FO 17' at least.

I thought the same, but heard similar stories (that production was way down for some reason). As they've expanded their distribution footprint, Fremont has gradually been expanding their barrel program as well. Beers like Rusty Nail and Coconut Bbomb are still on the shelf here in PDX months after their release, whereas a couple years ago the beers were strictly allocated and very difficult to find. Given that history, it seems very odd that production would be down so much for B4k this year. It's not as if Fremont had any difficulty selling B2k and B3k after all.

Any insight on value of Stagg Jr batch 13 compared to big beer like Assassin, Maman, Midnight Still 20 or HoG b3?

Older Fou Foune like 11 and 13, do they pull high end pastry stouts or do I need the right eyes?

Original Blanton’s for recent Mamouche, Nath or Fou Foune. Can Blanton’s ask for a small extra or would these be pretty close to 1:1?

    Many thanks.

I think this is right set of eyes situation. Feel like the pastry crowd doesn’t chase after these, even vintage ones. If they did, given the hype and possible deserved merits of the pastries, they’d likely want multiple in return. Then again, could run into some new money trader who’s never had Fou and there’s your match. That’s the way I see it, but I certainly could be wrong. Good luck!

    @John_M
There must have been a very small amount to hit San Jose, ca.
One of the better bottle shops posted it as available, but then posted it as sold out in a couple hours.
I got done with work and was excited for 2 seconds then let down.

    BA Fionn for BA Snowball?

This Snowball is getting harder and harder to track down. Tried a combo of Coco Coffee Noche and BA Fluffer and got zero interest. I don't see many BA Fionn's in the wild, maybe?

BA Fionn seems to me...to be one of the lesser desired AC BA offerings. So my feeling is that no this wouldn't work.

    BA fluffer = hidden springs?

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, but its my personal favorite after BAAT.

Could just be me but maybe some are confusing that with the hidden springs one....which could lead to people passing based on confusion.

I try to expand the names of beers and brewery in description to avoid such things. Not saying that makes it a lock to close but better safe than sorry.

Speaking of BAAT (could be an outlier) BASB went 1:1 for BAAT. I just don't think BA Fionn is close but others can chime in to correct.

From what I've seen HOG b3 would need to add.

As a side note to your question involving BA Fluffernutter from Weldworks, it is on Tavour today with a maximum of 4 per person.
