Lol, pretty much! Stouts, NE IPA's and regular IPA's. I am not into smoothies, milkshakes, etc so if they are doing those well, then add another category  I never thought a brewer made that much of a difference until I saw the effects at Ram, More and P3...amazing.

Even if you dislike triples but love Nelson, In Threes is amazing. Wasn’t expecting it to be this Nelson forward. Very smooth for 10%.

In all seriousness, P3 seems to really be hitting its stride since fully taking over at Lake Zurich. Slowly becoming my favorite all-around brewery in the area.

I love Nelson, but to me there is nothing enjoyable about drinking the equivalent of 3 beers in one can.

I have only had the hoppy stuff, but those didn't hit the stride until recently when they put in the RO system.

I live out here and once we put in the RO system at home (and the softener and the carbon filter), it made a massive difference in drinking and cooking water. So I can only imagine brewing at that scale, it would be much easier to start with pure water and then adjust the chemistry from there.

I remember having this discussion with Jake, who was the former brewer at LZBC. For some reason he didn't buy into RO and felt like it didn't make that much of a difference. With the relatively terrible well-type water we get out here, it sort of blew my mind. Maybe he was focused on the cost since they were a small outfit? Who knows.

On topic, I stopped by on Saturday with the whole crew for lunch. We were able to get a table all the way at the end, away from everyone. Kookers had our food to us in about 10 minutes, so the kids didn't get out of hand. My wife loves Hefes (me, not so much), so she tried the The Perch and she loved it. I took a sip and it was drinkable, but I was much more happy banging out some fresh Pils.

Tried my first can of In Three's last night and was amazed, which is what I have come to expect at this point. It is still up on the website so I am going to pick up two more 4-packs. These go down entirely too easily.

Pressed toffee has improved much since release. Had a very sweet finish right out the gate. It finishes much drier now and tastes more toffee-like to me. Great balance and excellent finish

Crazy but obviously good for the cause and P3 is matching the winning bid. I think Doug is going to hit his goal pretty quick. Some great bottles for the raffles, too.

Yep! Can't wait to have this one again. I was recently in California and brought back some Pliny. Going to do a side by side but having had fresh Pliny when I was out there, I found them to be as similar as I thought when I first had Terrazzo.

Just finished my first can of Terrazzo. I gotta say guys, I’m shocked at all of the Pliny comparisons. This is not even a true west coast ipa. This gives me classic Midwest ipa vibes circa 2014 Double Trouble or something in that realm. It’s not dry enough, it’s mildly bitter, probably lower carb , and the hops used might be similar to what Pliny uses but they aren’t utilized the same way. I just had Pliny For President last weekend and just don’t see the comparison.

All that said, I like it. I’d still rather a Ninja vs Unicorn, but this 4pk won’t last long.

Terrazzo is a very good beer, but Vivid Light is closer to the WCIPA style.

I agree Terrazzo is representative of the MWIPA style.

I haven't had the most recent batch of Terrazzo yet but the first batch was so, so similar. Like I said though, I'm planning to do a side by side soon to confirm.

Also, FWIW, I found Pliny and Pliny For President to be fairly distinct from one another when I had them a couple weeks ago. Obviously not completely different beers but they're different enough that I would be cautious saying Terrazzo isn't similar to Pliny the Elder just because it's not similar to Pliny For President.

Shocked by the Pliny the Elder comparisons since it tastes nothing like Pliny for President.
