Meeting a friend at Trillium for a beer, the first of which is a foeder aged lager. Delicious!

 

The words bone graft and jaw surgery do not sound like a pleasant experience, cheers to Mr's Z and a comfortable recovery.

My internet connection is wonky lately, and my Jai Alia rant timed out...here’s the beer I’m drinking right now - Jai Alai:



Canned 7/10/20 and put into a cardboard box dated 7/23/20 which showed up at the Publix 8/3/20. I’m tired of this subterfuge, and I’m tired of CCB sending me weeks old Jai Alai when, prior to the buyout, it was 3-4 days new on the grocery store shelves. Clearly no love for the locals who buy/drink Jai Alai...and I doubt anyone left at CCB cares...

One of our local breweries offers $10 pizzas and $10 growler fills on Wednesdays. The pizza is long gone, but I still have half a growler to consume. Today's beer is Twisted Windmill, a DIPA, and it is hitting the right spot.

 

Was out walking the property when this doe started following me around. I stopped and she came right up to me. Let her lick my hand and gave her a head scratch and she was good to go.
Pretty cool.

This is a quality NETIPA. 9.5% and crazy easy drinking. Cheers all.

Drinking my third can of this goodness from Trillium & Vitamin Sea Brewing today. Nice DIPA collab with Citra and Rakau hops. I had 2 cans of this in a row on Sunday during and after the process of making and eating some homemade hummus with roasted red peppers that came out pretty tasty despite not looking very good. Lots of minced garlic, sesame seeds, evoo, cumin, spices, chickpeas of course. Went well with the IPA I thought. Trying to give this one a proper review now. Glad I still have some more of these, as this is pleasing the itch from my short hiatus of NEIPAs. Cheers y'all!
