Beer Jokes Thread

In the interest of brevity, here's a few punch lines for you:

• "If I wasn't a billiards drinker from way back, I'd swear that was piss."
• "I gotta go ax my wife first."
• "I couldn't stop. It was one strand."
• "I ain't goin' in there fer no quarter."

For a couple of these, a tangential connection to "beer" may be established only by means of a convoluted setup which is left as an exercise for the reader. (Trust me, it's not worth the time.)

 

The shorter, the cleverer, the better. Toss in an entendre or two and I'm sold. The best quips are never too doctored.

 

“Is that a string hanging from your sleeve? Nevermind, it’s just your arm.”

 

Polonius, in Hamlet, speaks one of Shakespeare's best truths. "Since brevity is the soul of wit, and tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes, I will be brief..."

 

That damned Shakespeare always beats me to the punch, by centuries.

 

Not really, humor’s an art form, and sometimes It works better than others. I’d say present society has far worse indicators of imminent doom.

before and you came off normal. I was genuinely nervous thinking oh no,I'm in an argument about beer jokes

 

You know society is doomed when we spend more time breaking apart jokes beers and analyzing them than laughing at drinking them. It's a joke beer people- laugh drink up. Don't make things more complicated then they need to be.

Do you really think people here would limit analysis and breaking things apart to just beer?

A really bad joke is better than no joke at all. Humor is an art form and a life style.

From where I'm sitting, discussing beer humor seems to be much more humorous than the beer humor itself. As always, YMMV.
