Wow, that’s a solid distribution range. Just curious. why DC and no PA, NJ, CT, etc? I thought I remember getting Vliet in MA as well as here in South Jersey but this was a year or two ago.

 

Doesn't DC have weird laws more readily allowing delivery? I mean other half is opening a spot there... But EQ also delivered there right off the bat I think? In state delivery on NY is simple enough I guess since all the NYS/NYC breweries with capacity do it. NJ lawmakers historically loved bar and liquor store owners plus distributors as you probably are all too aware, so basically NJ prevents pretty much any delivery from out of state unless its via a distributor.

 

Blame politicians, they have been raining our beer parades since the 18th Amendment.

 

@stairway2heavn, you are correct that DC does indeed have more liberal laws. To be clear though, we are shipping there directly to customers via our web store.

@tzieser probably has seen our beer in NJ and MA, as we're also sending small, but consistent drops to New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Virginia through distributors.

If folks are from any of those places and think we should be in a particular shop, bar or restaurant, please let us know and we'll do our best to make that happen.

For those picking up Heady, People Power is a solid pilsner. Not obnoxiously dry hopped.

 

Argh! The stars are just not aligning! I just bought a bunch of stuff from Industrial Arts (Summer Landscape, SoTA Cream Ale, Tools of the Trade). I’ll be ready to buy more beer in two weeks or so, It’ll be very interesting to see what’s available then.

 

Ha. I was just about to pull the trigger on an IA box when the opportunity arose to get a Fox Farm box, so I refrained. I’m hoping to find Summer Landscapes in the wild and I’m going up there in a few weeks anyway.

I did have a friend of mine buy a Threes box yesterday and he’s cutting me in on 2 each of the Heady, Schilling and Short Fuse. Pretty happy about that.

 

You People, they should make IIPA called Yous Peoples, is a solid Simcoe IPA.

The descrip says brewer select hops, not hand selected, but maybe we can't do that bc of the covid.

 

I got a 4 pack of short fuse (on the DeCiccios Somers trip) - awesome beer. Perfect for a hot day like today

Was July the first drop for CT? Just came across two different cans at a Whole Foods. Grabbed 7/1 Vliet, excited to try this afternoon.

 

That’s a damn fine Pilsner. I drink a lot of Fox Farm and Vliet seems similar to Gather, even the slight haze. I actually like how Vliet is more restrained with the bitterness and let’s the malt shine. Easy repurchase next trip to the store.

 

Shout out to Threes. I only just realized that despite being in far northern Westchester (Putnam county is only a few mins north, and CT is only a few mins east) I was still in their direct delivery (vs shipping) zone. So got a case of beer (inc Hop Showers, Splish and multiple Threes offerings) at no additional cost then if I’d walked into the brewery. Beers were still cold to boot which makes it way better than shipping in this heat. And the guy that delivered was super nice. Thank you threes!

 

I’m a sucker for a well done Nelson beer and damn, Forevermore is so good. Nelson lovers go get some.
