    I suppose it technically is frowned upon here too ha (I work at a beer store), but I like to 'sample' a beverage or two when I work late during the week, I call it 'product research.' Somebody's gotta make sure the beer is still good!

    I thought the 2011 needed the extra time and it sure came around vs fresh. I had the 12 a few days ago and I thought it was a bit rough out of the gate too. I'm going to have to try another 2012 to see if my palate was off the day I tried it.

    I wish I had a witty way of introducing the beer I am drinking. I do not. I am drinking Black Hole. By Mikkeller. it's more acrid than I had anticipated.

    Nice beer that really grows on you, sort of like a fruitcake with dried fruit, orange peel, spices and a touch of honey, but finishes dry and crisp, very much like their underrated Tripel. You need the channel locks to get the cork out, though- maybe I'm drinking it too soon?:wink:

    Last night I had a fresh pull of Highwater's Hop Riot at Simmzyees in the Shore, really fresh and tasty, found it at WF in bottles for $5 and change so Im having more Hop Riot tonight.
