Well, its Friday the 14th just about everywhere now and I've got at least one more in me along with a little light bedtime reading
    [IMG]
A fine lager and a nice comedown after the mondo stout that has had me occupied since 8 pm yesterday. Hope you early risers in the east have a wonderful day, it promises to be a hot one out here. May have to take the kiddos to the beach

What's up BA, have a good Friday. I have been doing well. Sorry to leave all of you hanging for so long. I will be back for the foreseeable future. I have had some unfinished business to attend to in the last month. I have been reacquainted with Prozac, and I have since found out that it should have not happened in the first place. Also got diagnosed with HBP, but that is a hereditary disease in my family, so it was bound to happen eventually. Blood work came back with flying colors, so my liver function is in back in good condition; a contrast from when I was a severe drinker from last year and the years prior to it (that were building up). I have gotten back into strength training, as I have not been to the gym since my mountain bike accident in 2014, I forgot how much I loved it. I need to start up my power lifting routine and get back into shape again. Body composition is definitely going in a good direction already, even though I haven't lost much weight.

I got into a reading addiction again to pass the time. I found some new favorite authors and revisited old ones. Tom Clancy will always be my #1. WEB Griffin, John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, Daniel Silva, Dean Koontz, and Michael Crichton are some more I now love. I always seem to gravitate towards Military/War or Government Espionage books; but dabble in other genres as well. Need to get into more science fiction/technology books, I read both Jurassic Park novels and I was hooked on that style of writing instantly. I think Arthur C. Clarke is the logical next step to try out.

Final note will be that I will be officially taking a new and exciting path with life. After my grandfather passed away last year, my sister moved into his house with her family. There is a mobile home in Doylestown Ohio sitting out there for free for me to move into as a result. It is currently under my Mom's name, and the lot rent will be $500 a month cheaper than what a new apartment lease will be come November 1st. Planning on buying a Jeep Wrangler when I get a new job with the extra cash. I get to have my own yard and equity in my name for the first time in my life. I can brew beer with propane finally as well! No more stove tops waiting 2 hours for a boil. I plan on taking in 2 cats from my parent's house as well. I will look into another industry to continue my engineering career nearby. I was thinking of getting into a more manufacturing "hand's on" area; and with the whole COVID shit, I am still living on unemployment anyway. A job is no longer keeping me in Michigan. 8 years experience on the resume is going to be plenty. My nephew just turned 5 last week and he needs an uncle to play video games with. I have barely seen him at all his whole life.

Cracking open this at the moment. Always love it. I'll get back into reviewing eventually.

    Cheers

The new album is fucking AMAZING. I need to evaluate the AOTY list, this is going to be near the top.

So nice to see you again @superspak ! Sounds like a lot of great things have been going the past month, congratulations on your life changes!

Early beer to start off Friday morning, easy start to the day.

Revolution Ghost Ride, their solid Kolsch.

Heading to at least one Revolution location today to grab their Hop Butcher collaboration pours on order at the brewery. I may also head to their Brewpub for a few pours before or after the pickup. Considered other locations, but it will be too hot and sunny to enjoy.

A few Art Bell bumper songs to start the day, or end it depending on your perspective. It is the one show I miss more than any other, radio or television.

When the aliens land, they will share awesome beer!!!

Not quite sure which I like more, Sumpin’ or Maximus, both very good IPA/DIPA. Maximus is more on the « sweet » side yet doesn’t get any complaints from me...

Errands run, home now with a glass of juice, West Coast style - “Grapefruit Sculpin”:

Seven weeks old and crisp, clean bitter grapefruit pith...this is what the Doctor likes to drink! It’s 88°, 70% humidity, feels like 99° right now. Sunny and hot. I’m going to take the RV to the storage unit and get the rest of the larger oil paintings and other art...a quick trip to be sure. Have a most fine Friday y’all, and Cheers!
