Decided to take the drive from NJ and hit Tin Barn, Rushing Duck, & Long Lot Farm Brewery. Im by Morristown so the drive was just about an hour.

Long Lot first. Location is very rural. Really small nano brewery on a family farm. Staff was very nice and the story behind the farm was cool to hear Varied tap list. The beer was good but the outdoor seating imo added to the vibe. Nothing stuck out but would visit again in the fall based on the location. Only draw back was with 12+ beers of unique styles I would have liked an option for a 1/2 pour.

Rushing Duck. I have been here a few times and enjoy their beer. Staff is always incredible and I very much enjoyed the ipa's and wild ale. Had a very tasty sour as well. Food truck was serving some good food. Seating was tough outside because they were pretty busy but enjoyed a few half pours.

Final stop was Tin Barn. First let me say the property came out of nowhere while driving. The barn is massive. Great set up with to go in the front and pours in the back. The inside area is very nice and looked like they are working on a pizza oven..seems like the owners are pouring a ton into the venture. Seating is outdoors in the back. It was VERY busy when we got there. felt lucky to get a table. for the location and "barn" feel of the brewery and area i was underwhelmed by the seating set up, i think they could have done better. The bbq food truck was very good. Again they were only doing full or can pours. All 16oz. Only had 1 here and it was good and comparable to other ipa in the area... got a few to go so will be able to judge more. The black currant sour my group had was a clear winner. Will visit again for sure.

did not realize all 3 were so close to each other. I think with these adding in eq and eventually drowned lands you could have a nice little pocket..that is new to me

You need to add Drowned Lands to that circuit. Looks like they’re opening their tap room this week. It’s 7 mins from Tin Barn. I did a similar trip yesterday. If you take the route up around Greenwood Lake it’s an awesome ride, and the beers are damn good as well.

Will be doing this exact circuit with Drowned Lands in the next two weeks.

Or might sub Pine Island in for RD because I've done RD a bunch and never PI. We'll see.

I totally get that breweries don’t want to handle so many glasses and transactions right now. My strategy for handling full pours/cans only is to bring a couple glasses and pour out my own tasters among whoever I’m with (and isn’t driving soon).

For anyone who’s seen me at an establishment that doesn’t offer smaller pours (hello, Burial!), it’s not pretty when my “tasters” are 16 oz. ‘Cause I just want to try it all.
