Beer Glass Hard Case Suggestions?

A wine gift box would work just fine, throw it in with some padding.

 

Doesn't help the OP, but I was at Cigar City a couple years ago and a guy sat down at the bar with what was essentially a small briefcase. He opened it and pulled out a spiegelau IPA glass. The inside of the case was rigid foam rubber formed to fit the glass. Without saying anything, the bartender took the glass, rinsed it and filled it with Jai Alai. When the guy was done, the bartender washed and dried the glass, the guy put it away and left. Both amusing and memorable.

 

Yeah, but how? According to The Brewers Association's Draught Beer Quality Manual:

Check out the OP's Beer review, and if this were a serious post I would suggest modifying an old musical instrument case. Open up that trumpet case and play a tune on your Teku.

In his defense, you can't carry around a Spiegelau glass in your pocket. It can't possibly end well. (The same holds true for crystal shakers. Don't ask me how I know this, but trust me.)

SKB makes hard cases similar to that of Pelican cases. They are used for a variety of uses, and many are sold with square-foam precut blocks to make modification easier. I will be purchasing one layer this year for photography equipment for work.

You should be able to get one that is the right size for a glass, and it still be a size reasonable enough to fit into a suitcase, although you could just as easier use it as a carry on (like a laptop bag).
