This is common with any place that has had a theft problem with nicer glassware.

They have the BCBS "in a proper glass" down the road at my local craft brew pub for $15. Now be a man, demand a proper glass, and pay the extra 7 dollars!

just speaking of generous fortune, theres a bar near me called shore house that just started offering craft, mostly very safe pedestrian stuff like long trail ipa and anchor steam, but one of the brews they offer on tap now is victory golden monkey. And on tuesdays, every pint is $2, even golden monkey, you can walk out spending $8 with a strong buzz (plus tip of course)

Had a (good) beer bar once serve me Double Crooked Tree DIPA (13.6% abv or something like that) in a 20oz tulip pint (all their beers at that point came in 20oz). One word: Damn.

Sometimes I get mad at this if I want to try a bunch of new things and was expecting a smaller pour. Getting BCBS would not be one of these times. Great deal, one of my more memorable deals was flower power pints for $3.

I had a similar experience with DFH 120 minute IPA at the SF Toronado. 13 oz pour for 7 bucks. good times.

Threads like these make me wonder how much(or little) bars/stores are actually paying for craft beer.

Holy cripes. Glad I live in Santa Rosa. I probably wouldn't drink Pliny if it cost that much.
