Conversely, take a drive through the parking lot at the NH State Liquor Store in Chesterfield, or the Home Depot and Target Parking lot in Keene and you will find where all the Vermont license plates have gone.

 

People are entering and not quarantining everywhere, everyday. Nothing any of us posting can do to stop it. Best you can do is say please don’t.

I've seen Vermont cars with a "Shop Local" bumper sticker in the Hinsdale Walmart parking lot.

LOL. I've been asked to not come back to a few places in my younger years (thanks Whiskey!). But getting the banhammer before I've even been some where? That's definitely a new one.

 

VT utilizes “precogs”, you’re screwed.

 

90 percent of the state are former flatlanders (and the lower 1/2 of the state is in the opinion of the northern 1/2).

 

We’re coming up from NH (save the quarantine talk as it’s done)

looking forward to visiting foam and bbc.

it’s been a while for us and would love some recommendations of what to see and do for outside dining in these times. As always, if someone recommends and we see you out we will gladly point a pint or tulip in your direction 6 feet from us.

Black Flannel for stunning food, beers in a variety of styles, and some quality house-distilled spirits. Also Stone Corral, my local for tasty pub food and house beers.

 

Foam has a new restaurant that it opened next to the brewery. I haven’t eaten there but menu looked promising.

 

they sell the restaurant food in the tap room. Stopped there last week and loved the place.

 

Does the COVID test after a 7 day at-home quarantine get administered in VT or in the home state prior to leaving? I am in MA and considering a weekend trip to VT after the 7 day quarantine and negative test. Driving of course and not stopping along the way. Thank you!

 

From the Vt Dept of health website info:
Travelers arriving to Vermont in a personal vehicle, may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in their home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions.

If you are in one of the MA counties labeled Green on the map on the webpage you do not need to quarantine/etc.

 

Thank you! not in a green county so will need to do the quarantine + test. Thinking of a trip in late oct / early november and will keep checking the rules in effect at the time.
