    Have a good Tuesday. I was up until around 1 AM with one of my childhood friends of 22 years. We were on a Discord call, and I was playing Magic The Gathering Arena while I shared my screen so he could talk me through it. I ended up finishing one quest of of 5 battles with the white deck. I was into the the first win of the blue deck, before we both played each other a couple games. He always beats me, even though we both agreed on stock decks lol. Anyways, I have been watching youtube videos and playing a puzzle game called Zup! that is on steam for super cheap. I bought all 15 of the versions of the game, so I have a lot of run through. It's pretty funny because it gives you 2000 Steam achievements per game. A bit of a joke really. I still have a chess game going with one of my other buddies as well.

    Been a while since I had one of these. This was a 9/2016 batch. This is tasting amazing. Tons of dried fruit and leather accompany a nice bit of bourbon + barrel tannin. Molasses and brown sugar, but it definitely ends not so sweet from drying aspects in the linbgering barrel tannins. It is definitely mellowed out on the barrel intensity overall, but I can't recall when I have tried a fresh batch. Might be a good idea to compare, as I am always curious about the changes in beer over time. I have plenty of experience in that field.

    Drinking one of my regular at the moment. A BSPA, just after lunch. For the weather report it has cooled off quite a bit which is nice.

    I am watching the first episode of Stranger Things. My buddy Mitch recommended it when I went down to his place for dinner last night. Right now seems to be alright, I might have to watch a few more episodes to get a feel for it.

    This is definitely one of the best in the series. Perfectly balanced with super rich malts, fruity/nutty coffee complexity, and bourbon barrel presence/integration; mild earthy hops and fruity yeast. I grabbed a 4 pack on impulse a while back, fully knowing that all would be amazing considering the collaboration they did. I love all of them, and glad for the cans on everything as well.

    This is a good one and the first season is fairly catchy, interesting and particularly well acted considering the age of the children playing.

    In other Michigan beer news, haven't run into the final Leaves of Grass series beer, hope to soon.

    On the Grateful Dead hour yesterday, the first half featured Jerry Garcia's memorial service. Can't believe 25 years have passed. Fortunate to have attended their final show in Chicago. Here are two from the show, courtesy of Two for Tuesday.

    Great news! Our son was accepted into his graduate biology program. Now he won't be spending all his time in his room. His mother is ecstatic, which makes me ecstatic also.
