But really at least you only got a friendly sarcastic response. For my first post I made the mistake of asking what the parking situation was like at Other Half. Some of the responses I got woulda made you think I asked what everyone’s favorite Bud Light variant was.

 

Can you enlighten / remind us? That’s horrible. Was it that rozzom guy?

 

It was probably just one or two “this again” type comments. But, you know, the comment worked better if I drama’d it up a bit.

 

That's because, I assume, people are onto the fact the stouts, outside "Short/dark" are really not worth the investment. Have some melted ice cream.
So as to not be too negative, I would've bought a box of the main event given their IPA track record, though I didn't need all those TIPAs in a time when sharing beer is rare at best, nor their stouts, so it was a pass. Nonetheless, I hope everyone enjoys it. The box is actually, I admit, kind of endearing.

re: SD, I initially thought it was really good, but after having other cans, I think it is trending toward the bottom of my preference for OH single hop DIPAs (DMD, ACE, etc.) and I am reluctant to buy beers that I historically liked for being galaxy-forward.

 

I hate admitting you’re right about this. I loved SD to the point that I only searched galaxy hops for a while, but i feel DMD has been the most consistent best beer out of the rotation you listed.

Had a SD last night, not peak, but was enjoyable.

 

Although he could sometimes be a tosser and his malfeasance when it came to grammar, capitalization, and punctuation was unparalleled, I really miss that guy. Thankfully, despite coming out of nowhere, you've done well to fill his enormous shoes.

P.S. Let's grab a 4-pack of something sans Citra and some take-out at that Mickey D's across the street from OH when you're next in the city!

it's very flowery on nose and taste, with a soft watermelon/coconut middle, herbal finish

wouldn't identify this as an other half beer if i tried it blind
