Me and my group just finished a significant FW hazy ipa tasting, considering they have quite a few offerings, and here are the rankings:

    1. King Citra. Ok this was a few weeks ago but it reins. Probs the best KC they've done.
    2. Mo Pulp. Getting to current offerings.
    3. Double Emeralds. A more intense hazy, reminds me of New Glory beers.
    4. Friends in Space. Very nice and creamy, easy drinker.
    5. Dreaming in Neon. Confection notes.
    6. Tiger Uppercut. I don't mean this is in last place, but it was my least favorite of these, I still enjoyed it. Had a medicinal aspect, but still a supple palate.

I would have ranked Tiger Uppercut and Friends in Space higher, perhaps 1. 3.

Agree Mo Pulp deserves a 2nd place finish. Great beer.

Double Emeralds was just OK; it was big ABV and boozy.

They only one of these I didn't love was Double Emeralds. All the rest are at least a 4.25 in my book.

Inconsistent a bit in 2018. Parts of 2019. YMMV.

Also there is so much more competition now locally, so many choices at every bottle shop or brewery.

Since the Pandemic/Stay at home hit in March 2020, I have only been to my office near Fieldwork (Sacramento Tap Room) 1 time. Lunch time was my good time to stop by for cans on release or tasters. Miss hitting that place. Going to have to make some time to hit the next can release with all these good reviews.

Solid rankings, I'd probably just switch 3 & 6 around. Still all of these were pretty great and compare favorably to almost all of the other hazies I've been drinking lately (mostly ASB and Moonraker). Just finishing up on a pack of Tahitian Blue, and I think I'd slide in to take over the #3 spot. They really got the body & feel nailed down with all these new ones.

Glad to hear about TB, added that to my can order this morning...after I waited too long to grab St Thomas cans. Doh

How are Fieldwork's farmhouse ales? I'm intrigued by their two new releases even though I absolutely do not need to be buying more beer right now.

Reminiscent to the first few batches. Really good. Exactly what you want from a Citra hazy.

Some check-ins on Untappd say it's got a hop burn. Are you noticing it? I'm picking up a crowler today, but will probably wait til next weekend to try it.

I'm getting nothing from this, which is nice as I got quite a bit from the last batch of Mo Pulp. FWIW, I'm not usually sensitive to it.

Speaking of hop burn...If you actually like a little of it on the finish (like I do! Ha!)...then get this one! It is nice and soft on the palate, but also hoppy and dank on the swallow. As it warms, you start to feel it...not for everyone, but I loved it!

Maybe a touch on finish, but just a little bite of the DDH to some.

Nothing like ASB 2017-18 or anything.

I have only had 1 can from this batch so far. Will try the rest over this next week.

Freekin delicious new batch. Arrived this morning, cracking one to toast tonights kick off of the NFL season. I'm loving the Fieldwork shipping program.

I passed by the Monterey location yday and they were closed; they should post it in their instagram.

    Got some cans, though.

In my opinion, their farmhouse ales/saisons are their weakest link.
