What college student takes these rules seriously? (Or any rule for that matter, Covid or not)

And then add inebriation on top of that...well, you only have to read the news lately to see how it’s been going so far.

 

Back on Von Trapp's beer, I bought a six pack of the Dunkel this week based on reading this thread, and WOW, is that a great beer. Just the perfect amount of bready malt and caramel flavor coupled with a crisp finish. I polished off three cans one after the other, even though I had some Fiddlehead IPA in the fridge and was planning to move on to that instead. The Dunkel was that good and that easy to drink.

 

To me - Trosten > Natur Helles > Helles > Maple Rauch - I need to revisit the Vienna. I recall liking that one.

Those two Helles are great and the fact that you want to have more than one pour is IMO the beauty of those beers. You're just enjoying your company and the setting, not worrying about ordering a different beer because the one you have will do you just fine.

 

The Oktoberfest was fantastic. Loved the Helles as well. That’s scenery though...what a fucking place to hang

 

Big fan of the Oktoberfest as well....already on my second 6pk.

 

these are tough times for waitstaff- I would not wanting to be doing that job right now. They are kids, give them a break.

In recent times, I know I’ve had it as early as 3rd week of Oct at brewery and lasted as late as Jan at brewery. In older times they still had it end of April.

 

Was there last week with Alewife and there were a couple of dogs outside in the Biergarten ...

 

Cool. I took the info from their website. Guess they need an update/revision.

 

I think the website is right, but it could be clearer. The outside patio is the same as the biergarten right? Unless they've built things out recently, it's a big outdoor area with picnic tables, some lawn games, and chairs. We've taken the dog there every time we visit, great spot and can't beat the sunsets!
