I take it Wisdom is the Horus bottle included with membership, right?

 

Wisdom is the collab with Horus, but is not one of the 10 bottles included with the membership (available for pre-order though with the 10% discount, limit 6/person).

 

I only know it's more than 250 as there are 250 box sets and it's first come first served. Beyond that I have no idea.

I didn’t get the impression that it was a barrel society exclusive so not sure if there are more or less than 250 members.

 

It tastes excellent, very complex, rich and smooth. I thought it would be too boozy, but it isn’t. When they put out beers like this, you realize how good of a deal the Membership is.

 

For anyone that's curious there are currently 400 members of the Bottle Society.

That's so odd, I'm not getting emails from them and it's not even going to my spam folder. I didn't get the latest release email and I emailed Chloe Saturday night and haven't gotten anything back.

Yup, she just did. In my spam box again. So annoying. I must have cleared the folder without noticing the release email the other night.

 

Jumped onto their store and was surprised Wisdom was still available. Nabbed 2 bottles. I’m not going to lie, a Weller Barrel aged Old Ale associated with Horus has me really excited.

 

finally picked up my bottles this weekend, 40 bottles, so I can't wait to start trying. First will be a stay puft variant while camping this week.

 

You should be, it’s fantastic. I was really surprised the bottles are lasting so long, until I saw on the label they did a run of 1800 on this one, which is about double their usual numbers.

 

I can confirm...it is incredible. Definitely one of the best offerings I’ve tried from them.

 

Has it been a while since the last release?

 

I had both of the V for Vanilla variants recently. They were excellent. Kind of wish I had done a side by side, but I wanted to enjoy them on different days. Big barrel and vanilla. One of their best in my opinion.
