Trying this one again. A bottle of Hypermash for:

    (1) 4-Pack of Abner
    (1) 6-Pack of Double Citra

If you don't like those ratios, let me know and we can discuss further. Also, have a few other BL options if Hypermash isn't of interest. Thanks!

Thought it was a decent offer, but pretty quiet since first posting a few days ago.

Sort of facts, hand up, Hill apologist for the most part. I’m in the camp that these types trades should close instantly, hops for stouts, etc. With Hill’s pandemic limits, which are basically nonexistent, there are plenty of cans for people to spare. Plus, as much as I love abner, whatever, I don’t need a case or however many of it and would love to score a stout like this. More than a decent offer @kevindp9 . Good luck!

Abner did sell out very fast when compared to almost any of their offerings since going live with curbside pick up.

    But what was the limit?

I don't think they had one. I just mentioned as a piece of info which seemed somewhat relevant to the conversation.

I get that. With no limit it likely helps it move quicker and the fact that it was the first time canning Abner? probably helped too. From my info it seemed to be up a few days with the rolling retail window. If I score a no limit hoppy beer, say I bought a case, whether it sold out in 1 minute or 1 day, really wouldn’t change the ease at which I give up a 4-pack of that case for a stout not normally available to me.

Totally agree with all of this as a fellow HF apologist. I think one complicating factor is the number of people who are actually going to pick up at Hill has been drastically reduced. I was a once a month to month and a half visitor personally, but haven't been up since COVID started due to travel restrictions.

That said, great offer and I'd probably do this if I could get up there. Good luck, OP!

I agree. Definitely a good offer. I only got a pack of each for myself though.

Yeah, I wonder that myself, but I’m generally skeptical of people. I’d like to think they kept it tight, but have a feeling enforcing restrictions has loosened despite their online terms. I just know people can’t help themselves when it comes to beer and being from MA, which shouldn’t Be doing much beer travel especially to VT, I think while it has been reduced drastically, I’d bet it’s trending up these summer months.

OP, sorry to derail. Again, good luck.

I don't mind the commentary - still trying to figure out how I haven't gotten a single offer (at least as listed). Some of this helps explain it!

I have friends who live in the area and they don't even max out on the hops. When I go I usually get one 4 or 6 pack of a hops I want, which doesn't leave enough to trade when someone like you posts lol

Unfortunate bc this is one of the few times you'll see HH trading for hops. Although HH had a pretty good amount released a lot of people including myself felt no need to sit on bottles. They were drinking real nice fresh.

I did manage to try HH recently from another friend, and it was probably the best BL in recent times.

Damn. I'd do this if I had the hops as good as HH was. And I still have another bottle that's been burning a hole in my pocket...

As good as it may be, I'd still rather enjoy my 136 oz of HF over 17 oz of mostly anything.
