    Right on man - have you tried the rhubarb aurochs yet? The recent release was pretty sweet and thin, but the first batch was absolutely divine... I hope that's the one you got!:grinning:

    This beer is in the same category as DFH Midas Touch for me, not at all similar in style or taste, but it absolutely "only takes one" for me.

    It had to be the first batch, since it was fairly well balanced, and it definitely was not thin.

    EDIT: My dad and I really enjoyed it. We cracked it on Thanksgiving.

    Pliny bottled on 11/26/12....8 day old baby Pliny. Haven't had this in a while, I'm one of the rare few that thinks this beer doesn't live up to the insane hype created by the small production, don't get me wrong, it's an incredible beer, but there are also tons of other beers that are comparable.....with that being said.....fresh Pliny is pretty fuckin awesome, especially since it's been a few months since it's crossed these lips.

    I attempted to start tonight with a Peruvian Morning, but my bottle was infected. You'd think that a store wouldn't have a beer that was known to be infected in May still on shelves in late November, but oh well. Instead I enjoyed a Stone Smoked Porter with Chipotle. Decided to go for a beer with the Sons of Anarchy finale that describes some people on that show perfectly, (Barrel Aged) Naked Evil.

    Thanks. Due to the unseasonably warm weather in Chicago, I was able to take a couple of pictures on the balcony tonight. I'm guessing tonight's pics will be the last taken outside until spring.

    That's actually what I was doing right now! Went and bought a new 6 pack and wanted to see the different. I honestly prefer it aged.
