    This is a somewhat atypical NEIPA, which is a good thing in my book, that has a rather distinct herbal character in addition to the more common tropica/citrus notes, probably due to the Sorachi Ace hops used here, but still manages a nice balance of grassy, herbal and juicy, fruity hop notes.

    Texas summers suck for lots of reasons, but the one I hate the most is how they keep my buddy Huevos the Dog locked inside for three months. Poor puppy:

    Good thing is he'll be well-rested by midnight when it's safe for us to venture out on our nightly sojourn. But I know he can't wait until the heat breaks and he can get back to his daily daylight walking schedule.

    Work bud gave me this as we trade beers often. I've never heard of this brewery or seen it anywhere here in WBAYDN, soooo....it's A OK, and I've discovered the El Dorado hop can stand on it's own. I love learning things like this. Also, a local has an El Dorado single hop IPA available so I now shall be buying it!

    Stay cool! My work truck has no air just a desk fan bolted to the dash and it get easily 110 in there or worse it overheats my computer in there and shut it down. Heat exhaustion is no joke. Cheers.

    Went to the beer cellar for a beer and loosened a can from the plastic carrier and set it on the shelf. Then surveyed what was there for a moment and picked up a can. When I poured it I said this looks awfully dark for an IPA. I had grabbed the wrong can, duh !

    So I am now enjoying 3 Sheep's The Wolf w cocoa nibs and coconut ! Quite tasty for sure.
