    A guy I worked with was trying to hook up, so to speak, on POF. He literally met someone that looked like a catfish. She had photo shopped her picture over pretty good and when they met in person he was like "you'er wearing a mask right?" Good luck

    Good afternoon BA
    Another new Oktoberfest. This one is from 4 Hands in St. Louis.

    Really drinkable. Dry and not a ton of malt complexity, but these were made to drink in bulk. Speaking of drinking in bulk, I have about 27 hours before I start nightshifts and the daughter's bathroom is in primer. Time to turn the detail work over to the girls and put in some work here on BA. Cheers all!

    Fantastic IPA, probably the best FrauGruber have ever done. How well has it held up with 6 months on it though?

    OK, even for a ticker, that Alltech was a mistake. I didn't think it was that bad ... but two hours later, I still had that aftertaste lingering, and it wasn't pleasant.

    I think the aftertaste gave me a headache.

    Time to fix my palate (and my afternoon).

    We took a nice drive through rural, deep southern New Jersey today. My wife wanted to stop at East Point Light House, along Delaware Bay, to bird watch. She saw a bald eagle although we didn't get a good photo of it.

    Then we stopped at Glasstown Brewing in Millville.

    I started with Nightcap, a Belgian Blonde Ale with some Vermont white cheddar. It was fairly sweet with notes of honey and candied fruit but not a bad example of the style.

    Next was Maurice River Bourbon Brown Ale. It's not barrel-aged but has nice bourbon notes along with roasted malt, coffee, burnt nuts, and caramel. A very nice beer.

    I bought cans of the pumpkin ale and Märzen; and may get into them later. A great outing on a beautiful late summer's day.
