this gave me a much needed laugh! I know the Gov in NJ is allowing indoor dining at 25% capactiy and that carries to breweries as well. Wonder when NY will make a similar move, not that I am going to be rushing out to places next week or anything.

OH, I love you but I want to know who buys your clothing merch outside of the +$10/4pk shitlords who introduce the anniversary beers.

Personally, I think we'd all look better in pink broccoli-patterned unitards. We should be flaunting our comely curves, no? But until those exist—and it's only a matter of time—I suppose I can throw on a pair of these to demonstrate solidarity with the team.

I just don't want to have to watch @RauchbierFan33 snort lactose off @algebeeric_topology's bare chest again. We're all friends here, but that was a little weird.:grimacing:

Just yesterday I saw a guy at Prospect Park with a t-shirt on. I've seen the hats around too. Most seem like your typical Brooklyn dad (always a guy), and every now and then it's a ripped-from-the-pages-of-VinePair neckbeard.

Mylar Bags is solid by the way, in case anyone needs to re-up and doesn't want to chance a miss on the GC brews.

Is it too over the top to own brewery merch? I own at least 10 t-shirts from different breweries, but I was also the kid in high school that always wore band t-shirts everyday.

OH hats are ass, the only good ball cap is the 6 panel cap... I rather wear the stovepipe '79 Pirates cap over their '09 Billyburg 5-panel hipster cap.

I must say the transition of brewery merch during the pandemic has been amusing to say the least. The masks I have seen quite a bit around the neighborhood. Today I saw a "Batch One Was Better" tee on Smith St. by the Hungry Ghost. The Stuntz shorts will be the icing on the cake if they make a cameo before summer's end.

I personally would never buy the clothing but I did willingly get the Green City Teku yesterday.

Picked up some this afternoon. Will try tomorrow.
I also had my first Broccoli World (lv2) and it was good - I will enjoy it three more times but I'm not sure Sabro is my thing. I am novice when it comes to identifying flavors and whatnot but I still find the Southernhopalistic amazing - glad you guys aren't buying any.

    Don't yuck my yum.

I've always been kind of weird about brewery swag, particularly that guy in line for cans with his brewery hat and brewery shirt. We get it. You're waiting in line for beer and that says more about your obsession than the hat or shirt. At the same time though, it's really just my problem and ultimately good for me if someone wants to pump more money into a business I frequent.

With that said, I could see myself getting a shirt before another glass. If anybody wants to trek up to Greenpoint I'm happy to give away a bunch of random, never/barely used OH tekus including El camino Misfires, Nomelhead, Yeah from the Chairlift, one of the Green Cities, white OH logo link, and a few other misc glasses including the first hop showers glass, grimm's lumen glass, and a few others.

I have five branded glasses. Two branded t-shirts. One branded hoodie. One says Russian River. One says Hair Of The Dog. The rest say Hill Farmstead. #shaunislife

I own a few shirts... OH hop showers shirt, bissel brothers shirt (best beer logo in the industry...come at me), and a Pliny shirt. I love them, yet when I show up at a friends house with beer wearing one of those shirts, I feel like I'm overdoing it.

And when OH makes those Boogie Board Stuntz shorts into an actual swimsuit, I'll buy them, and not feel like I'm overdoing it as I jump off my friends roof into their pool while shotgunning cans of AGE (not BBS, because that actually would be overdoing it).

Oh no, you're totally right. That's one of the glasses I'm not looking to give away :grinning:

I also really like the nightshift hop owl.

If you can buy graphic tees go for it, not sure if it's blessing or curse to be a medium tall... Too skinny for a large, too tall for a medium, so I'm stuck with wearing plain 'stay tuck' color medium undershirts. Shirts are cheaper by the 5 pack, but not as cool.

I've had my t-shirts enough where they're slowly falling apart. I am looking forward to replacing them with something more adult. I do have way too many glasses. I feel like a fair number of them were free.

Trust me, I'm not about to change my wardrobe based off of what some people are saying on a forum lol. I was just curious since someone mentioned it.

RE: brewery tshirts, I guess it speaks to personal fashion taste. I'm a jeans + tshirt kind of guy when I'm in casual wear which is pretty much everyday now. Whenever I go to a new brewery, I also like bringing a souvenir home which is usually a shirt and a sticker for my fridge.

I've pretty much stopped buying glasses. It's pretty rare to ever need more than a few at any given time unless you just really hate doing dishes. I also dislike tekus. Willi bechers please.

I’m such a curmudgeon about strangers stopping me to read my shirt to me that I usually have zero text on my chest. The last thing I need after another horrific Mets loss is to have folks at the supermarket chatting me up about it. For example.

I believe I own 2 OH shirts, one was a gift. Mostly wear any brewery shirt I have around the house or just hanging around with friends. I don't mind supporting a place I enjoy outside of their main product. I have a few hats I wear from places but that's mostly because I hate doing anything with my hair

@Xerlic, @Tallerboy I don't have strong opinions about beer/brewery merch. I still have a KBS and Goose Island shirt (both gifts) that I throw on now and then despite both of those breweries seriously challenging their customer base with stupid decisions and behavior.

These days I think I'd be cool with a simple logo t-shirt (I think these cartoon themed beers are kind of goofy TBH). I keep the glassware to a minimum also for practical reasons.

So anybody pickup their box, any surprises inside?
