Drinking a Sports Ballin right now. Pretty good. None of that Galaxy harshness showing.

So you're not going to come to the next meet-up wearing OH boogie board shorts and/or a pink broccoli unitard??!!

Well, good sir, you can go straight to hell then.

Other Half needs to come out with a branded drinking boot like from Beerfest

    this is an amazing idea.

Das Boot competition at the first meetup back (team BBS shortz vs team big pink broccoli hat).

    Beware the air bubble.

C+G is solid. Smooth up front, sweet towards the end but not too much (insert fruit flavors relevant to these hops).

I haven't been loving much Galaxy stuff (didn't really love Forever Diamonds) but this is getting my seal of approval (which is worth zero HS points for those keeping score).

Picked mine up earlier today. Inside the box is a miniature “Super Broctendo” game system to assemble out of paper. There was also an enamel pin.

As much as I enjoy the packaging and how well packed the box is, it’s like twice the size of a normal case of beer. Kind of a pain in the ass to get home.

agreed. It’s great. Only negative is a mild chaulky aftertaste that was more present at first, mellowed as it warmed.

    I thought unitard/spandex was more r̶a̶u̶c̶h̶b̶i̶e̶ rozzom's thing.

I see that Hop Deluge is back on for curbside, was that ultimately a polarizing beer, split along melon-hater/lover lines?

I got a 4 pack of the original release and I enjoyed it a lot. Didn't think it was in your face with melon flavor like some of the other recent OH I had, I felt like FAQs was the most upfront with it and it was super overripe melon for me in that one.

Good. I got a few cans coming to me on Saturday. I was a little nervous because of the feedback I’ve seen here. I’m getting 2 cans each of 6 beers for $60. Not too bad actually for a 12-pack.

Oh fuck, I have Hop Monsoon coming.

Just saw Banana Pudding Crunch on the website. Seems to have been reviewed on untappd before. Any one try it?

Banana Pudding Crunch Imperial Stout (14%) with Banana, Nilla Wafers, Vanilla, Coconut, Coffee, Cinnamon, Maple, Almond and Milk Sugar. Local pastry shop doesn't carry beer? Local bar for some reason doesn't have banana pudding? We got you covered.

Looks like it was on tap at OH’s pre Pastrytown bottle share.

Indeed it was. But what finer way to honor his memory than by having all of us squeeze our beer-padded selves into form-fitting garments? That it would allow us to strut our "stuff," so to speak, only makes it better.

You know, come to think of it, I was never fortunate enough to see rozzom in his bodysuit before he perished. But I've heard great tales of adoration. I bet it was a spectacular sight...

My Green City box came in about 24 hours after receiving the shipping notification. Between that and the milder weather, it's nice to know that the beers didn't spend too much time in the back of a hot truck.

I noticed that these cans felt really hard. I remember someone recently posted about OH cans feeling squishy, and this was the complete opposite. Of course, I dropped one on the floor and it began spraying everywhere, so I guess I'm starting my green City with a warm All-Stars...

FWIW, I thought the box was pretty cool, but I don't know what to do with it. The foldable broctendo is a nice touch. I have a pretty decent SNES collection, so it'll go nicely on that shelf. Looking forward to diving in to these beers after they're chilled to the proper temps.

One of these days he will make his triumphant return, and we can do naught but stare in awe and press 'like'.
