    Trubble brewing yer bitter ESB and a blue Buffalo burger. E is damn good. Nicely rich crystal/Maris otter malts. Some yeast fruits and balancing noble hops. Blue cheese burger was awesome. Medium doneness with a bit of grill crust.

    Glad you enjoyed it. Folksbier came out of no where with that banger. They usually make exquisite pilsner but their ipa game is on point as well. After having a single I ran back out and grabbed a couple packs haha cheers

    Love me some Schlafly's! Among others, I'm a fan of Southampton Publik House Pumpkin Ale, for a "local" one, but it's probably a bit more spice than you'd like. DFH Punkin is my favorite though :slight_smile:

    Today's can was also dated 07/09/20. Perhaps some age has mellowed the harshness I felt in the taste and mouthfeel. Both seem more rounded and better balanced. It still has a strong boozy quality to it, just not as harsh.

    I still can't say I'd jump at trying another one, but perhaps another time, another run of the beer...

    Hazy, dull peach and orange hued body; very thick and creamy white head. Nice aroma of pineapple and mango; oats. Juicy and tart flavors; grapefruit; strong hop bitterness; slightly boozy. Heavy body; gently coarse and prickly on the palate; alcohol warmth; heavy acidity.

    Looks like this was canned 07/09/20. The massive hop bill is certainly front and center with this beer. It seems a little hot even for an 8.0% ABV. Still, this beer delivers a powerful, citrus-centric treat to the taste buds, but in a ham-fisted, one dimensional kind of way.

    Dogfish is excellent! I'm also looking forward to trying Good Gourd in cans. I've only ever had it in the bomber size bottle. I'd also love to see Carton release its Pumpkin Cream Ale again. Haven't seen it for several years now.
