Have a good Labor Day. My friend is going to have a cookout today, and his parents are coming over at noon. I will probably drive home later in the evening. I talked to my dad on Friday and he is going to take a week vacation off work and move me into Ohio. We will probably get a Uhaul 15' rental and make a few trips. He says the mobile home I am moving to needs some work on the gutters or something, so I will be busy when I get settled in.

Sun King Osiris pale ale. Excellent APA. Great Summit, Nugget, Cascade profile. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice clean bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Really big fan.

I was disappointed with this one - undated can, bit of rye spiciness, very thin and watery - didn't come close to the hype, at least for me.

Good morning and happy Labor Day, BAs! Got sidetracked by, uh, labor yesterday, so didn’t end up opening any brews. Remote teaching is stressful! I’m definitely feeling more pressure and anxiety this year than in any of my previous 8 years of teaching. We can only do what we can do though. Hope you parents out there understand that your kids’ teachers are trying to make this school year worthwhile, even if we make a mess of things some days

Will be making up for yesterday’s sober prep today with a Monday full of brews. Starting with this one from @Joplamp . Arvon is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries. Ipas, stouts, sours...they do a great job on every style.

Great Lakes Bierwolf. This was awesome. Great rocky head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big chocolate, nutty medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread/crust, toasted biscuit, banana, orange peel, fig, pear, apple, bubblegum, clove, peppercorn, wood, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast/roasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, woody, grassy, roasted coffee bitterness; yeast spiciness; and light wheat/yeast tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; creamy/bready/grainy wheat, some sticky hops and chalky roast in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/spicy dryness, no cloying sweetness. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6.6%. Great balance of rich malts, fruity/nutty coffee, chocolate, orange peel, and Weizen yeast flavors; with nice noble hop presence/balance. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on base style as expected of Great Lakes. 4.1

Morning BA's, 4 hours of overtime completed on Labor Day. One of our directors walked thru thanking everyone for working, nice to have upper management that gets it. Knocking down a final bloody mary as the CBS comes up from fridge temp......cheers and have a great day! Because I know someone will note it, yes I spilled the CBS.....don't judge, the wife does however fill the bloody mary glass almost as full as it is now with vodka.....

What temps do you brings your flats to before you pull them? My last one came out pretty dry but it wasn't the best piece of meat to start with
