    Rather insane prices for beer indeed. Spending some extra this summer on beers I like to try and old (hard to get) favorites. Still having a rather low-cost summer this year, like no holiday.

    Spaten Oktoberfest, I don’t drink many Imports mostly because it’s hard to know how fresh it is. This beer seems to have a best by date of 05/21 so it was purchased. It tasted fresh and is a fine Oktoberfest.

    What's your overall take on New Trail? Everything I've had from them is above average, but the lack of can dating is off putting

    Rid of Me is a great album, don't get me wrong, but it was too similar to what Nirvana was doing at the time IMO (which makes sense as they were both using the same producer). Oh, My Lover and To Bring You My Love are much more original and raw.

    I think they're OK. I really loved Bonfire when it dropped like two years ago. This one is really good. There have also been a lot of uninspired offerings, too. IMO, they do doubles better than singles. Also, FWIW, one of their reps told me that their date stamper broke early on and they never got it fixed. And to that, the Hunter says: LMFAO. Listen, if your bread & butter is hazies, you damn well better be dating those cans. They're moving enough units to afford a fix on that alleged date stamper. Peace...

    how is the head now? I have no problem getting that beer to have head at first it’s the retention.
