    Have a good Sunday. Slept until about 730 pm or something. Broke it off with the first girl I was texting, so well see how any friendship would progress. She was too straight edge for me, I was told. I also had a bunch of my friends looking out for me with people they know, I talked to them tonight. We’ll see how that goes. I’ve just been playing chess and sending messages to random people.

    Founders Frangelic Mountain brown. Amazing as always. Hard to believe I got this in December and still not opened the 4 pack. Lots of nutty medium roasted coffee and hazelnuts; rich toffee, brown sugar, and brown bread/crusts. Light chocolate and cocoa. Bit of restrained dark fruits. Creamy/bready malts, a bit silky. Light sticky hops and chalky roast. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Will not pass up another 4 pack. Last time I had this was a bomber 5 years ago? I had reviewed it on August 2013. 14 months after the bottling. 4.32

    Because a “dry spell” of beer should never last too long, I am sipping on St Feuillen Grand Cru “Dry Hopping” in front of the harbor of the small coast town Le Tréport, Normandy.

    Go to a grocery store and fill your cart with exotic ingredients and walk around. Chicks dig guys that can cook, plus you’ll look independent, they like that too. About 10 years ago I found a lady’s phone number in my carriage, unfortunately so did my wife:grimacing:

    Rivers Edge Second Deck cream ale in cans. Delicious stuff. Lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, cracker, corn, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of pepper, wood, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing and drying sticky hops. Zero warming 5.4%. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced between clean Pils malt/corn and citrus/earthy hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. a bit hoppier than expected for the style.

    In this case I got it right after they released it so I knew it was in December. Most of the time I just go by the bottling date for any kind of evaluation. Best way to do it.

    Three hours into watching a monumental TdF stage, time for a beer. Heist Not From Concentrate. Great way to kick off the day. We live in a world where the Tour is on CNBC for reasons. When this stage ends in a few hours I plan to start trying to set up a Garmin GPS that a friend gave me because it is five years old and obsolete for his purposes. Cutting edge for me.
