    Yep, the Jets still suck! Why do I do this to myself? Why did my old man, a Giants fan, allow me to go down this path of misery? The world may never know the answers!

    Anyway, having a cold brew coffee Pumpking. The aroma is great, but I'm not picking up too much coffee in the flavor, just a little bit of roasty coffee bitterness at the end. Still enjoying it. cheers!

    Took the puppy for a long walk in a misty light rain, then finished my outside caulking/painting project. Glad to be indoors with a new beer courtesy of @mschrei - Central Water’s Brewer’s Reserve Brandy Barrel Aged Barleywine Ale (2020):

    Another hit from CW! The Brandy barrel adds another dimension to the base, and different from their BBA BW... grapey tannins, dark fruit, spicy hops and toasted oak with plenty of caramel malt base. Delish! Working on notes for NBW. And thanks again Matt for beer from one of my favorite breweries!

    The Coast Brewing 32/50 Kölsch is the healthiest component of this meal. Organic wheat, Pilsner, Vienna, Carahelle, Carapils, and hops.

    Yards Unter Dog - I was going back and forth on this beer because Sly Fox is THE local Oktoberfest option for my preference but the more I drink this beer the more that I like it. I had a single and soon after purchased a six pack and at first thought that would be enough but now I am not so sure, may be grabbing another before the season is over. Yards has been known for their Ales but this is now two new Lagers where they have knocked it out of the park for me and I hope that they do more.

    And [im]patiently waiting for the Oktoberfest tasting this weekend and I have a fridge full of new to me Oktoberfest beers and it's been talking a lot of willpower not to touch them :wink:
