Batch of Electric Lettuce from earlier this month is drinking very lovely right now. Got that balance of juicy & danky I'm always looking for, and not overly sweet. Great stuff.

Having a can now and I feel almost obligated to chime in on the Superbug triple IPA released last week - every hoppy aroma & flavor I was hoping for completely ratcheted up next level, perfect soft & full body. One of the best triples I've had and tops my list for Moonraker.

I have to ask. What it's like to drink from that glass? Seems difficult at best

It's actually pretty neat! Not difficult...but, different. It is thick and very sturdy...so you hold it at the bottom where the colors are.

The mouth is smaller than regular glasses, of course, but big enough to either sip or chug.

With the design, getting all the aromatics concentrated at one point is what it is known/used for...great for hoppy beers (especially Nelson!) and fruited sours...

Probably easier than cleaning it!

LOL! Correct! So, it is best to clean immediately after use with a long handled brush and multiple rinses!

No, this is custom made from Fritglass on Instagram. He had a custom list, but got so popular that he discontinued that and just holds auctions for them now.

Very, very, pricey, but for glassware/beernerd collectors, they are highly sought after for their craftsmanship/quality and ability to capture aromatics.

Placer County still open for outdoor drinking/dining. Got out to Moonraker on Sunday. They have a large outdoor patio structure already in place.

    Yojo was great.

Got Electric Lettuce cans. Still great.

Also some local rumors/news on a Moonraker EXPANSION into Cameron Park up Highway 50. East of Sacramento. 2nd location for them.

Brewery with Restaurant. Artist rendering pic.

Good luck to them. I question whether expansions really help bottom0line, as a number of breweries have folded under the financial strain. And this was even before the pandemic.

It seems like it comes down to why and how they're expanding. If they don't need to take on a huge debt load, they're not trying to quintuple production, and they're not justifying the expansion by projecting immediate doubling of sales then they should be good.

    Official today. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIi8uTJFSPw/

As the craziness of 2020 winds down, we have some very exciting news to share with all of you. It’s official, the Moonraker Mill House is deep into design and engineering and we hope to break ground in early 2021.
We chose a beautiful oak and pine studded 16 acre property in Cameron Park as our next venue. We will be relocating our production facility from the hangar, which has served us well for the past few years.
Our new facility will have a large taproom, a massive outdoor space, a large private event space and a farm to fork kitchen. We want to create a space that makes you, your friends and your family feel like you’ve stepped into the great outdoors escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This location will be environmentally responsible, because that’s just who we are. It will have solar power, recycled water systems and be built with sustainable materials.
Phase 2 [IMG] will feature a private wedding venue as well. Let’s have some fun in 2021!!
Yes, the Auburn Taproom will stay the same. It’s the OG!!

Moonraker Bubble Dust DIPA from the latest can run. One of my favorites of the MR doubles. Citra, Mosaic and Nelson.
