This is quite the opposite from Sam Adams this year. Not sure which I enjoy more

The Sierra Nevada is quite light/bright, not just in color, but mouthfeel, flavor, aroma. It reminds me almost of their Pale Ale (or kolsch?), with a bit of citrus. The Sam Adams... its been a while since I've had their Boston Lager, but it was more like that. Malty, sweet, toasty, dry. There was some bitterness, which I didn't think fit the style, but otherwise enjoyed it!

    Nice avatar, too

Fat Tug IPA from Driftwood Brewery in British Columbia. This is undoubtedly a world class beer from one of the best breweries in Canada. However, since I live in Ontario, it gets out here about as often as the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. In fact, at least 95% of the beers I've had from B.C. were on visits to that province. That's how rare it is for one to land out here. Canada is a great country, but we're ass backwards when it comes to interprovincial regulations and distribution. In that regard, we are a shit show inside a dumpster fire surrounded by an oil slick. Cheers.

Woke up around 1130 and ate the rest of the boneless hot wings and the slice of buffalo chicken pizza I had from yesterday. I had to take my friend's car home because he didn't feel ok to drive. I only had 1 beer the whole night. Found a Summer Shandy that is only 1 year out of date lol. Not bad.

Clear, amber gold body; lively carbonation; relatively thin yet lasting head. Citrus emanates from the nose with a bit of white wine. A mild presence of cocoa noted in the taste; pear; earthy; a bit phenolic. Medium body; semi-sweet; a twinge of alcohol dryness.

Well, this beer didn't come across with any noticeable chili pepper heat or flavor. There is no bottling date information, so there is that, too. I don't know. The beer sounds like an interesting idea but some of the key parts are missing. I was expecting more, was delivered less.

Bluejacket Full Fathom Five. Not a fan at all. Plastic juice with nothing special happening. How can you mess up Galaxy/Citra...? Also, not can dated so I have no idea when it was packaged, but it tells the consumer to drink fresh. Attn: breweries... stop doing this. It's insulting.

Good day everyone, right now I'm drinking Ayinger Jahrhundert Bier, a Dortmunder/Export Century Celebration Bavarian Lager. It's been a few years since I've had this and it feels like a revelation. Almost like a kolsch and festbier tastes mixed, with notes of honey, biscuity toasty malts, fruity esters like apple, pear, grape skin, mild tobacco spice and minty hops. A really great and unique lager to have. Cheers all! :beers:

    Good afternoon BA
I had to get up on the roof today after the dew dried and do some sealing around a chimney and skylight. I don't remember it being a big deal a few (10) years ago...

Already had a celebratory Early Times Bottled in Bond taste and now I'm into my current beer fridge workhorse. Cheers all!
