Happy Tuesday everyone. Time for a new Tree House beer. Not on the site yet but it's a mixed fermented ale so I assume it counts as a wild.

Hello everyone, I'm starting my day with an old Evil Twin & Westbrook collab, Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break. This is something like a mix of Imperial Biscotti Break and Mexican Cake recipes. I got this bottle in NY around the time of release before I got it in Boston. When I went back to Boston I saw some bottles on the shelf and grabbed another to try fresh and age one. This is drinking nicely right now, and getting better as it warms, with rich dark chocolate, roasted coffee, sweet cinnamon, vanilla, toasty almonds, spicy fresh habanero peppers, and some toasted graham crackery caramel malt flavors. Real nice. Cheers!

I am enjoying the hell out of a Blanche De Bruxelles Bier Blanche. It Is a Belgian Wit and it hits all of the hoped for notes. There's yeast, wheat, lemon and orange in the nose and palate, though I'm not getting any of the advertised spice. I rated it at 3.92, which is a tick above its BA average of 3.76. My only complaint is that I got ripped off with an 11.2 ounce bottle. Where's the other .8 ounces? Damn metric system!!

Tribute Barley Wine 2018 Edition by Renaissance Brewing Company in New Zealand. 10.8% and a very good representation of one of my favorite styles. This beer has been retired, so I picked up half a dozen of the few remaining and will age the rest a while longer. It’s the time of year where I start breaking out of the cellar and also buying the heavier three season styles. Over the next six months, a lot will come out of the cellar but even more will go in. Just the way it is. Cheers.

american brown ales are probably me favorite beer style ever. I do wish I had such a great readily available option like this from philly or jersey but Bells is a go to for me.

and again. RIP Riley. Your voice will be heard forever. The tightest band since Pantera and that really means something. Music aside nobody deserves to go at 34. Murals of him were painted and his name is tagged on the Williamsburg bridge for a reason. Cheers
