Wait a minute, isn't a half day 4 hours? Oh wait I forgot your days are usually 10 to 12 hours. Cheers.

OK, going to be breaking out a few new beers today that I am really looking forward to.

Starting out with Cigar City White Oak Jai Alai. 7.5%. Could probably be a little fresher, but I’m sure Covid 19 had something to do with the delay in me getting this in Ontario. Still, it’s very good and I’m always pleased to see a major American craft brewery making inroads into the province. The more the merrier. Cheers.

She does look good! The only thing that gives her away is the greying around the eyes and muzzle. Any chance she’s a Potcake?

Last fruit of the day (and probably for a while if I want to avoid dying of diabetes)

Smoofee Sour - Raspberry, Vanilla, Guava

Brewing Projekt has been killing it with these types of beers recently. A couple of the Puff Tart and Smoofee series are almost as good as some of as some of the Mortalis I have had. Not as good but excellent for a shelfie.

Have a good Thursday. I drove a uhaul and trailered my car for 4 hours last night. Still have a car load in MI left but 90% is moved. Talked to my girlfriend for an hour on the road. Still have to unload the truck and figure out where everything will go. My dad is taking the trailer back and a couch to my sister's house. Glad everything only has to travel 4 steps up this time.

All my glasses are still on the truck. My BIL had a few KC glasses I guess. 2017 is amazing. Didn't even put it in the fridge.

Cuvée des Trolls. This modern Belgian beer comes in somewhat small bottles. Idea behind this is that the beer has to be enjoyed somewhat cold. So I learned
    Cheers!

I still miss that one here. Used to be in the supermarkets until about two years ago. Nice large bottle. Not too high on the alc by vol, and certainly not too low either.
    Cheers!

Second up of the new beers I am trying today is Twin Pines Double Dry-Hopped DIPA by Sawdust City Brewing Company in Gravenhurst, Ontario. 9.0% ABV, 88 IBU and made with Amarillo, Galaxy, Idaho 7, Mosaic and Simcoe hops. A couple of weeks ago while drinking another of their beers I mentioned that this was probably my most under appreciated brewery in Ontario. Well, not anymore. This is an outstanding beer. Cheers.

Agreed. Some Doppelbocks like Eku 28 while great are very boozy, but this one finds the right balance I believe, and the caramel and malt nails it.

Based on a number of weather reports included in various BA's posts already, it sounds like my "Indian Summer" weather here today is not unique. Enjoying a regular for me, a clean and crisp choice for an afternoon refreshment.
