Have a good Saturday. Been up all night as I woke at 730pm. Played yahtzee with my gf online last night and we are going to a brewery this evening. Going to play some Doom soon on steam. Still waiting on gigabit internet on Monday, but I've been strategically using my phone as a mediation point. I feel crippled

Might as well start off NBW. Founders Oktoberfest. This was awesome. Lasting fluffy head/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and light caramel/nutty malts; with light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery hops. Mild DMS fruitiness, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; creamy/bready malts, and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying sweetness. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6%. Very clean on lager flavors, not overly fruity/yeasty Awesome clean/rich munich/pils malts with balancing noble hops. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Spot on style. Glad I got the 6 pack, super baked bread tastes. 4.13

This is my first Saturday off since early April. My brother’s father in-law passed last week and they are doing the service this morning. Packed the cooler for the party after and was asked if I would mind making up some bloody Mary’s and I make one hell of of a bloody. This was a great and simple man that was family to me. Still having a early glass of juice as I prep and this stuff is amazing. Cheers all.

@TheIPAHunter was right these BIG breweries struggle with hitting the mark on this style. Always less expensive but never as good. Still not bad, just meh.

Urban Roots Life Adjacent - a BBA scotch ale/wee heavy - 3.81.

Hey BA’s - Live the rest of your life like every day is Saturday. I’m not sure who to attribute that quote to, but worthy advice just the same. This concoction may sound gimmicky, but they really did pull off the flavor profile of an oatmeal cookie dipped in bourbon. This is my 2nd and final can of it until the local bottle-shop scores another batch.
