    Out in the courtyard with the pup. Altstadt Amber Altbier, I like this more every time I have it, and starting a new book for me. Haruki Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. He always writes really interesting books. Its going to be the last good day for a few days, storms and rain coming and its going to get hot again. For at least a little bit, then back to beautiful weather early next week hopefully :slight_smile:

    ...pro tip: don't try sharing the kitchen with a wife who doesn't comprehend how to share a kitchen for multiple cooking projects...I love Mrs. BG, but Christ on a Wednesday, she has never learned how to work in a kitchen with others with diverse cooking projects going on (and her dream is for us to cook together!!!...:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)...it ain't gonna happen...she has the best of intentions...anyway: split pea soup and grilled cauliflower going on...I'm the soup ****, she's grilling the cauliflower...

    Second and final full draft, Foudre Moira, a Dark Belgian Ale.

    $8 12 oz chalice draft pour, 4.6% ABV.

    Appearance: Ruby black pour, white tan creamy head leaves bubbly ring around glass rim. 4.0

    Aroma:     Bountiful plum raisin dates, sweet and pleasant. Honey backs, roast coffee as well. Fresh bold and excellent. 4.5

    Taste:     Similar to the aroma, plum leads, not typically my favorite fruit but really like here. Dates, raisins, sweet, nice. 4.0

    Mouthfeel:     Thin light body, nominal carbonation, lightly creamy, easy clean finish. 4.0

    Overall:     Very nice Belgian offering, sweet but manageable, great blend. 4.2

    Fleetwood Mac on now, will select a better tune from OG Fleetwood Mac.
