Revisiting the beer 10/09/20 -- Mrs. Beer Goot picked up a six of the beer for her group of gal friends for tomorrow...The Kings Sooper's beer guy was trying to sell her some graham cracker or peanut butter flavored beers...

An actually fine looking beer, clear amber with a decent sized head, fluffy and sudsy and lasting with some patches of foam sticky to the glass. Not a whole lot of change with the smell, but solid. The taste comes across as a bit sweet yet not cloying; mild toasted caramel; decent hop bitterness. Medium body; crisp.

Well, now. Time to eat some original impressions. A fantastic beer? No. Passable and enjoyable? Oh, yeah....
    ----------------
Crystal clear gold body; lively carbonation yet the head is thin and wispy. Faint cereal grain scent. Metallic-like taste; some corn; fairly bitter. Thin body; weak and watery on the palate; mostly dry finish.

Not much to recommend for this beer other than, despite the lack of distinctive and desirable flavor, it is a beer with a mild alcohol content. It would be a good, cheap, hot summer day thirst quencher.

Killer triple. And I mean killer in every way. Tastes a little sweet with a blueberry-like cannabis. Dark berry and a little citrus on the nose. It dries out a bit on the finish. Its a little over the top but not bad. Im not getting alot of the 13% abv until it hits going down. Its kind of a barley wine like IPA reminiscent of Waldos Special ale but not as pungent with green hops. Ive just drank half a bomb in the time Ive written this. Scary.[IMG]

I don’t tend to like IPA’s from New Holland and was expecting not to like this. The only one I really liked a lot was Black Hatter and if they make it anymore it doesn’t hit distribution. This has cantaloupe, lemon, and lime. There’s a nice cooling sensation to mouth. Had a buddy also haul this back from Michigan. I will keep my eyes peeled for this here and when I head back there myself.

Fox Farm Pebble clocking in at 4% ABV. Much better than I was anticipating. I'll definitely be purchasing more.

    Tree House - Iridescent

A double IPA with peach, guava, and coconut purée. Honestly, it just tastes like a fruity NEIPA. Perhaps a testament to how great today's hops are, and that tropical fruits really aren't needed. I'm not into fruited IPAs, and while I see it as a novelty, it might be interesting to see this with fruits that hops cannot replicate, like dark berries, passionfruit, banana, grapes, cherries, etc.. I don't know. A perfectly decent Tree House IPA.

    Cheers!

My first beer tick from Arkansas! East Sixth Brewing's The Alpha & the Omega, a really well crafted blend of barrel-aged and non barrel-aged stouts. Lots of chocolate, coffee, molasses, vanilla, and black cherry with subtle, delicate bourbon. Just delicious! Thanks, @jdell15!

Read "berry" in your description and instantly went "must be Mosaic." I really enjoyed the last strong FAB beer I had too, despite the ignominious origins of the brewery.

Not sure if I have more in me tonight... we'll see how I feel after this one.

Harpoon continues to make Clown Shoes weak. Not huge on this one, and I've been a little meh on most of their recent output despite my love for CS back in the old days of the early 2010s. Review here!
