This was the beer I intended to start with -- Wetwired from Cloudburst and Holy Mountain. It's a lovely fresh hop.

    Sticking with the Baltika line...
#4 Dark Lager - 5.6% abv; best by of 3/14/21... Nothing special necessarily but a drinkable enough dark lager - zero complaints...

Drank that while watching The Boys finale for season 2... Epic episode... Gotta say the second half of this season has been a grand slam - and the finale? Great ending - great action - a bit of everything actually - and paid off just about all I had hoped they would...

    Currently enjoying Baltika #6 Porter...
7% abv - best by of 2/15/21 - solid porter - the best of the three Baltika beers tonight - and also just most solid for the style... Dark roasts mildly bittersweet and a hint of anise...

    Cheers...

Revisiting a favorite. I will probably tire of it someday, right? (Takes a deep whiff and then a big gulp). NOPE. Still amazing!

Who is that? We both know Märzen can/bottle art kicks ass, but that may take the cake.

This is my first night drinking beers since the news of Eddie Van Halen's passing. The emotions are difficult to process. He was my first musical idol, and no one else will ever compare to him!

An age old story from many BAs - I'm finished drinking for the time being...but, wait..!!!

And so it goes with me tonight...

Elevation Beer Co. -- 8 Second

...and still on a bit of a Sun Ra jag...this use to be a free download at some point...don't know if it is anymore...the entire album is pretty decent and approachable...

...but then classic Coltrane also jumps into the fray...a very nice 180 gram vinyl reissue...clean pressing and nice sonics...

I’ve been through about four packs of this lager in three weeks.
Also, water for what I think they call, “hydration.”

I find I drink more water out of this can, I think it’s a subconscious thing. It’s a little expensive for water, but I recycle all of my aluminum so it makes me feel better.

And it works as a 16 oz placebo at work, can’t do beer obviously, plus I’m trying to cut out the Monster so...

Broad Brook Brewing out of CT. Unfortunately the beer itself was just ass, but you're right on the label, it's pretty awesome.

A personal favorite was Firefly Hollow's Oktoberfest label last year...
