[IMG] I had a tough time getting back to sleep, so decided to do some research for my second job at the Laconia Case n Keg before going in later. This is brewed with oats, only 6.5% but really tasty. Cheers all.

[IMG] Watching Goliath while the rest of the family sleeps and this show is so good. This beer is one dimensional but really, really tasty. This is a OG brewery in our State and still putting out some tasty suds.

Primator Maibock. This is a fantastic beer despite being "out of season". Nonetheless I will only rate it in the mid-3s as it's neither hoppy, nor hazy, can't detect anything tropical, and it has zero juiciness. I mean, what were those crazy Czechs thinking when they exported this here?

Morning juice seems like the closest thing to a purpose I can find for this "beer." I have a friend who is obsessed with these absurd beverages, so yes this was free. It's not like it's disgusting or anything, but it is about as far from beer as you can get. This company robs people blind charging well over $20 per 4pack of shit I could make myself in a blender. Free is free though, cheers!

Head Full of Fresh Hops: Mosaic & Talus. By far the best Fremont I’ve ever had that wasn’t raised inside a bourbon barrel. I need to cross-post this in the “Latest WOW Beer” thread.

A-Lemon fresco colored (slight greenish hue) hazy with 1" head. Good retention.
S-Mango and guava jumps from the can
T-Mango, guava, and a hint of grapefruit. Average sweet, above average bitter but not overly so when you consider the fresh hops and the fact that Fremont's listed IBU for this beer is actually published as "A Crap Ton". Aftertaste is minimal but pleasant. Cut grass, but in a good way. Normally when I hear "vegetal" or "grassy" in a palate description, i have a "yuck" reaction. Not on this one! It really works.
M-Medium/full body, Exceptionally velvety, somewhat oily but not resinous. Carbonation seems low initially, but is really "tingly" on the tongue. Maybe the right adjective is effervescent.

A little chill out there, but not much so I hit the track to get the exercise out of the way. Now chilling myself with an oatmeal stout oft seen ‘round here.

Might even have a pumpkin beer later.

A relatively late start for a Saturday, but my son is visiting for a week, and I had to get him set up (and work off some of that excess energy!). Now it's time to relax for a bit and have a beer.

Thoughts over on New Beer Weekend. Having a new-to-you beer? First time trying a particular ale, lager, sour, stout - or anything on the wonderful spectrum of liquid we broadly call beer? Want to tell us a little bit about it? Then why not come join us? :grinning:

    Cheers!
