Thanks! I obviously didn’t understand Baltic Porters as much as I thought. Now I need to revisit Bell’s version.
And thanks again for the beer! It was both tasty and educational!

Hop Nuts Festbier $6 16 oz draft.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden pour, heavy carbonation, creamy white head leaves generous lacing. 4.0.

Aroma: Light bread sea salt aroma. 3.25.

Taste: Nice dry bitter bread malt presence, salty offsets the sweetness. More like a Pilsner than festbier, asked the bartender, said it was more fest inspired. Like the taste, just not what I expected. 3.75.

Mouthfeel: Medium body, carbonation hold well, clean crisp finish. 3.5.

Overall: Interesting take on a festbier, if you like pilsners this is for you, seek elsewhere for a traditional Festbier / Marzin. 3.5

West coast Vegas time, will hopefully find a few more before the thread is locked.

Alright, time for a mystery beer from the NBS BIF #12 for our official share day! From @FBarber we have Mystery Beer #1, from Off Color Brewing.

L - pale lemon yellow, two fingers of creamy white head that lingers

S - sour citrus fruit, bit of musty funk

T - lemony/lime citrus but finishes sweet not tart, white grape notes coming out as it warms a bit

F - light body, medium prickly carb, refreshing

O - Is it a berliner with lemon or some other citrus?

Turns out it's Off Color Beer For Brunch, a Berliner Style Weisse Ale brewed with Orange and Chardonnay Grape Juice. 6.5% abv. Tasty and refreshing! Thanks, Frank!

Second beer from Hop Nuts this evening, a fresh hops beer brewed last week they release each year, Wetter The Better. $8 6.7% abv.

Appearance: Crystal clear light golden pour, solid carbonation throughout, creamy bright white head with generous lacing. 4.0

    Aroma:
Very fresh and bold pine aroma, lemon citrus back, sweet but not overwhelming. 3.75

    Taste:
Nice dry bitter pine taste, old school WCIPA. Brewed solely with Mosiac Hops, this beer works well. Pine lemongrass lead, floral, strawberry bubblegum, varied, fresh, very nice. 4.0

    Mouthfeel
: Thin body, carbonation holds throughout, slight sweet creaminess, easy clean finish. 3.76

    Overall:
This is a very good Mosiac wet hops offering from HopNuts, will definitely order this when available. 4.0

I liked that one too. Another mystery Beer is on it's way, maybe a tad more difficult to nail down that this sweetie.

I wasn't sure what to make of that combination, but it seemed like the perfect mystery beer. I picked up a can for myself, but I've been putting off drinking it in case you saw me check it in somewhere. It seemed like a very unique combo of flavors to me, and was pretty shocked to see that there are a few other breweries that have had the same idea. Sounds like you had a great birthday. Cheers!

It was definitely the perfect mystery. I even had to add it to the database. Nice work. I enjoyed it.

Third and final planned new beer for today, HopNuts Best Coast DIPA, right up my alley.

Took a sip before the picture. This is a $8 8.2% 16 oz nonic draft pour.

Appearance: Clear light golden pour, light bright creamy head. 3.75

    Aroma:
Light citrus aroma, pine backs. 3.5

    Taste:
Sweet light citrus pine taste. Simcoe, Citrus and Mosiac hop combo works well. 3.75

Mouthfeel: Creamy medium full body, carbonation holds well throughout, light sweet aftertaste. 3.75

    Overall:
Solid DIPA offering, sweetness leads, stays within an acceptable lane. Cheers! 3.75

More mystery beer fun from the NBS BIF and @FBarber ! 6.7% abv, no other hints.

Right off, I knew this had to be a Oktoberfest/Märzen. It's hard to hide that malty goodness.

L - opaque amber, creamy light tan head

S - caramel malts, herbal notes

T - sweet malts, lightly toasted bread, good amount of hop bitterness in the finish to keep the sweet in check

F - medium body and carbonation, smooth and on the drier side

    O - clearly an Oktoberfest/Märzen

No surprises here. Not my favorite example of the style, but definitely representative. This brewery is totally new to me though.
