Day 3 reveal. Bring the Ruckley. The pepper spice was the rye barrel and the oak came through as it warmed. Another home run! Thanks for hitting it out of the park @jschott75
Day #3 from @Sturgeon83. A thick and boozy barrel aged stout with a nice hit of chocolate on the back end. Reveal: German chocolate cake snake from West 6th brewing! This was delicious! Thanks @Sturgeon83
Day 3 from @timmy2b brings some Lifesaver gummies and a tart, berry bomb As expected, my kids ate all of the candy and I enjoyed this new brewery/beer tick... Pantomime Mixtures Bake That Pie! Thanks Tim
Day 3 from @Joenap419 is a tasty coffee stout nicely paired with an orange chocolate, took a chance it would be a Tree House: Tree House Free Your Mind, an citrus coffee chocolate milk stout. Got the brewery, missed the citrus. Spectacular pairing here down to the chocolate with proper fruit, and quite a run of great beers @Joenap419, thank you!
Day 3 from @jrc1093 brought a smooth, roasty stout, greatly paired with malted milk balls. I had to let this sucker warm up before even thinking about guessing what it was. Once it got closer to room temp, it got even smoother, and I was getting a solid amount of vanilla. Not a clue as to what it could have been. A wonderful new brewery tick on top of it, thanks again Jake!
Late post. This was pretty damn tasty even though my Bills were getting smoked. Paired well with Mashed potato pizza. Thanks @Dicers for another wish list tick
Day 3 was still almost a dark beer. Very red pour with a great funky smell. Nice and acidic with a perfect amount of Tart Raspberries! Really enjoyed this as the only drink I had last night! Thanks @Dicers
Day 3 from @BartS: the cap is SARA if I recall correctly. I’m having a hard time figuring this out. It’s tart and funky. Paired with delicious caramel apple suckers, I think those are throwing off my game a little. There’s a hint of fruit- could be cherry like a kriek. Or this could be a sour Flanders red ale. Either way it’s quite enjoyable. SARA Brackish: dark farmhouse ale with salt and grains of paradise. I can definitely taste a light saltiness. This definitely drank lighter than the 9% abv would suggest for a farmhouse ale! Thanks, Bart!
2 part for Day 3 - Paired with Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Almond bar 3A Lots of cinnamon and chocolate on the nose, poured jet black and smells boozy AF. Nice heavy mouthfeel. This is almost certainly a BCBS. My guess is that this is 2019 BCBS Cafe de Olla Reveal: Woo hoo! Got it right, this is delicious and one I haven't had. Hits all the right spots. Nice part 1 @MTKATL Thanks! 3B This is a little guy, very viscous, smokey. This is some sort of Euro stout has those characteristics. There is a bottle I wanted this to desperately to be and I thought there was no way it could possibly be. My guess was De Struisse Black Albert I've never been so happy to be wrong.... This is a huge whale for me. Narke Kaggen! Stormaktsporter @MTKATL the rest of the week can be bud light seltzer variants for all I care, this is the most generous thing you could have done. This beer is even better as it warms out.
Day 3 @dprice sent a dark think stout. I sipped on this one most of the night. The Veil - Apple Brandy Curtains My first big stout from Veil and it was great. Thanks DeShawn.
Day #4 from @Sturgeon83 was a tasty, tart, and dry sour. I didn't taste any fruit and the dryness made me think it was a sour saison Reveal: Saison du Fermier! This was delicious! Thanks @Sturgeon83
day 3 from @winehead247 poured smooth, nice barrel nose. Tasted a little sweet, pretty much like a solid bourbon barrel Impy stout. Really enjoyed it. reveal was a new tick and a great pour. The maple came out more as it warmed but subtle. Cheers!
just realized the Day 2 didn’t post! I felt this was definitely a DIPA in the mid8% range with some galaxy hops? no idea on the hop bill but did a decent job on the other stuff. Was quite crushable after work, cheers @winehead247
day 4 is tasting like an IPA with one of the “newer” kinds of hops in there - getting a little cheesy/grassy taste which I dig!
day 4 reveal from @winehead247 , a Jew brewery tick and a crushable IPA. The Motueka was kicking off the tasty cheese!!
A day of tasty hops and Hot Tamales on Day 4 Froth Duffle Bags of Green 11% triple IPAs pair well with some fierce cinnamon About half the ABV but tasty too, Singlecut The Flash in the Middle Thanks @timmy2b
Day 4, another JO’s brew. Cinnamon, coconut, and barrel. I’m loving the beer and the candy pairing (dark chocolate + coconut is one of my favorites). Thanks @Elkevjoe !
