    Advocates this is first wow beer I've had in a minute. Jesus H you know what. Holy, holy, holy. Bubblegum all up in your face, and the mouthfeel is f*cking tremendous. This is NEIPA of the highest order right here!!! I've also said that EQ does the bubblegum thing just as good as Tree House. I had an iffy batch of MC2 during the summer, but this shit right here is the reason I placed them in my top 3 breweries at one point. Can I get a witness?!?! Amen, Hunter...

    Flandrien Super 8. Belgian Blond. No classic, despite the nice retro label (around since 2018).

    EQ had me at Nelson. The Citra hops come through on the nose, but Nelson is on full display in the taste, as well as the finish. Tremendous. Plus, you gotta love the hip-hop reference. It speaks to me, as I'm sure many of you know. Cheers, brothers and sisters!!!

    @Beer-Panda , Outstanding historic vid.
    Here is a more contemporary take on the Flandrien. Two great Flandrien rules quoted here... 1)"If your hands get cold, just stop thinking about them and peddle harder", and 2)"If you have to shift down to the small chainring on a climb, you have already admitted defeat".

    I had never heard of Harissa before...after a little research I'm debating going to the market on the way home tonight to pick some up. Sounds delicious and right up my alley.

    Lovely afternoon for some beer. Overcast skies; cool temperature; crows cawing in the distance (note to Baltimore fans: Ravens croak, not caw; fix your freakin' hashtags :stuck_out_tongue:). Beer provided by @ovaltine .

    Having my last can of Comm Ave from 08/03/20. Still really tasty and flavorful for now, probably nearing it's last good days though. Glad I caught this while it is still pungent. Cheers all!

    I'm in Bryson City NC for a week or two of seeing The Blaze of Fall, seeing old friends, camping, hiking and whitewater kayaking.
    I'm at The Mountain Layers Brewery in Downtown Bryson City NC drinking a Honey Just Two More black currant fruit beer.
    It's really good for the style, but like a lot of people, fruit beer is just not my thing. But, it's good on what is probably the last warm day in the mountains this year.
    Cheers!

    TGIF, oh damn it’s only Thursday.

    Heist Citraquench IPA, 7.1 abv. Terrific beer, absolutely a stunning finish on the beer, a bit of bitter, just a tad of sweetish, but it’s certainly not sweet. Kinda sweet red grapefruit, what I was looking for. Another Winner right here. As the finish goes longer the red grapefruit is more prominent, but it’s more bitter. Sunshine gold, decent head on the pour, moderate at best from there. I’d give this to my best bud I think it’s that good.

    I hate to be "that guy", but somebody has to say this. I'm completely appalled at how many of you are going about your day like everything is fine. Going to all these breweries, chain restaurants and bars, to drink, eat and post pics. Especially the ones that go for a shitty macro Lager. We're going through a freaking pandemic!!! The things aren't better, they are worse. The numbers are going up, not down. Still no cure/vaccine. Some states/countries are worse than others. Is it really worth it? Are you really that bored? Or do you think it's a "conpiracy"? Or do you believe it's only passed on from one person to the other? You do know it's on everything that an infected person touches, right? Glasses, plates, silverware, food, chairs, tables, counters, etc. Grown ups should act like grown ups! You are not helping the situation! You're making it it worse! And it's not fair to the ones who give a damn and take every single precaution and then some. :rage:

    EDIT: Do yourself and everyone a favor. Go to your favorite local brewery and/or bottle shop and buy some stuff to-go.
