Bottle Logic Brewing (2020)

Having another Details & Dialects and damn it, this is sooooo good (still). Really hoping it comes back in 2021 and I’m ISO more if anyone needs a Side Project/Perennial fix.

 

Thanks to your previous posts on this I started to seek this out and recently, finally, got my hands on one. Looking forward to having it this Fall!

I just cracked it, and it's blowing my mind...

Nose at first seemed like it'd be a vanilla-cinnamon showcase. Then streusel and peach notes began to blossom. The palate started off where that left, peach forward, then bringing in the bourbon and it's just developing all kinds of unbelievable deliciousness, yet not being too pastry-forward and having a drinkable body, even finishing just dry.

Winner? Definitely one of their best! The peach here is incredible.

I agree here. Details is one of the very best, if not the best Bottle Logic brew I’ve ever had. @bottlelogiclindsay ya gotta bring it back! I’m gonna fly to CA and pick up a case next time.

 

Been a bit since there’s been a Stasis announcement... think this is the longest time between releases this calendar year so far. No release in October this year? Wonder if something is getting announced this weekend.

 

I've got B2 slated for 2021!

Closing for the week threw a serious wrench into our bottle release cadence. We've still got quite a bit of work to do, but we're hoping to catch up and start moving bottles again in early November.

I'm drinking a Cryopreservation and wow, it is amazing. Brings me back to eating pistachio ice cream with my dad as a kid, stirred up a lot of memories.
Thanks Bottle Logic for not only a beer that tastes amazing, but for a beer that reminded me of some fun times long ago.

 

While I’m eager to see what the BL team has around the corner, this break has at least given some time to go through some bottles in the queue.

 

While you folks are at it, how about a B2 of Equivalent Dose? That beer was chocolate covered banana heaven.

 

Wanted to come back and add that I opened my 3rd of 4 Space Jam bottles and I've now had the same experience described here. My first bottle (fridge stored, opened with days of acquisition from BL) I opened was incredible, the second (closet stored) was undrinkable, and the third one (fridge stored for ~90% of the time since release) I just opened on Saturday was also undrinkable. Bummer, it's the first time I've gotten bad bottles of anything from BL and that includes NC b2. Hopefully my 4th bottle can even things out.

On a more positive note, I didn't care much for Arborescence on tap but I opened my one bottle and it was a surprise hit. Bourbon heat was much more subdued and the hazelnut really shined, although I didn't get much blackberry, the spice used in it was just enough IMO. Definitely will be on the lookout for another at my local stores.

 

Has me nervous for my four bottles proxy is shipping me...fingers crossed!

I have 2 bottles of Space Jam, but have not opened yet. Based on your experience, I will crack one open this weekend. Hope it is incredible and not a disappointment. Based on the adjuncts, I have high hopes.

I can verify that after 2 bottles of Arborescence, it is a home run for Bottle Logic, so much so, I bought a third bottle; it is underrated on untappd and beeradvocate for reasons I do not know.

2020 Fundamental Observation is still good, and I again bought a couple bottles, but I need to be honest, it is not as good as 2019. No wonder 2019 FO was so hard to track down.

Have not tried Cafe de Olla yet, but once again, picked up 2 bottles, so need to get to this as well. Have not heard anything bad about it. In fact, there are posts that it is a step up from Goose Island 2019 BCBS Cafe de Olla variant.
