    Agreed with the pick-up system.

Reuben’s online order & pick-up is good, too. In early spring, they’d pull your order and put it out on a table (as far as I could tell), which bummed me out when picking up crowlers I had ordered the day prior, but since summer started, every order I’ve picked up has come straight from the coolers.

I won't be drinking at a brewery until 2021 at the earliest, so the reservation system doesn't really concern me. The online ordering and alley pickup system is spot on, though. Grabbed a 4-pack of People Power on Saturday.

Damn, realized I haven't been to Seattle at all in 2020. Had planned to come end of March, that worked out great! :expressionless:

Down to my last 2 cellared bottles of Fremont. Anyone know of a good tunnel along the border? The brewery reservations and all seem pretty cool, however Holy Mountain drive thru likely doesn't count as essential to Homeland Security:joy:

If you can sneak into Point Roberts, they're starting a ferry service B'ham-Pt. Bob a couple times a week......

We were planning on spending a weekend in Vancouver in early March before my heart surgery, but then the world went to shit and we decided to be good and stay home instead. Those assholes abusing the "drive to Alaska" loophole are ruining things for the rest of us.

No exact plans yet. Maybe first weekend in October we will fly into SeaTac and spend 1 night in Seattle before driving south to Tacoma for the next 2 nights. Looks likes all brewery's are still closed for indoor consumption. So looks like I'll be grab and take back to hotel. Any recommendations on where to pick up for to go? I like my west coast and hazy ipa's. I know its Wet Hop season right now. So looking for anything fresh wet hop cans. Would also like to take back home with me. I get Fremont here in OC/LA area. But if they have anything available that I cant get here? Any recommendations welcomed here. Thank you.

Holy Mountain, Cloudburst, Ravenna, Urban Family and Great Notion are open for on-site with reservation. Grab some Mirage cans if you see them around town. Fremont will likely have some draft only fresh hops for crowlers or on-site. Follow our Fresh Hop thread for specific recommendations.

Down in Tacoma, check out SIG, Narrows and E9.

Chucks is open for to-go and on site with reservation. Bottleworks is online ordering with pickup at the door.

Unless something has changed in the last couple of weeks, reservations are not needed at Ravenna or Urban Family. There may be waits depending upon when one arrives, but I've never needed a reservation at either place.

I don't go out to drink at places (thanks mitral valve and Warfarin!), so sorry if I put incorrect info down.

In the Tacoma area (Puyallup) is there a store for cans to go?

Just a heads up that Puyallup is its own town a short drive from Tacoma. I have a lot of family there.

Caskcades is in downtown Puyallup and Rainier Growlers is up in South Hill. There is also a Tacoma Boys in South Hill. Those would be your best bets for cans or crowlers.

Power House makes pretty solid beer, too.

Google mapped Power House. Looks like they are temporarily closed?
Starting to dial in our quick trip to the SeaTac area. Originally we were suppose to go to Port Arthur for their annual crab festival the 2nd weekend in October. But that’s been cancelled. So instead we’re there to check out & celebrate my nieces first birth. So of course I’ll be in search of some good ipa’s from Washington & Oregon. Cigars is extra. We down here in SoCal area have an abundance of great ipa’s (hazy & west coast). Yes including Monkish & Green Cheek. So I’m looking to bring back some of the northwestern gems in cans to share & enjoy with friends. I prefer to purchase at the source (brewery) for freshness. But I may not have the time to hit all the brewery’s, so a bottle shop will be more convenient for to go cans. I’d still like to hit up a brewery or 2 and/or pub/bar for a sit down and enjoy some cold hoppy beers.

A very good trip to the SeaTac area last weekend. I posted some on the Wet Hop 2020 thread already. But mainly on the topic of WA’s wet hop offerings.
Ordered my GN IPA’s cans (minus Mail Owl) while waiting for our flight in the United Club at LAX. Arrived in SEA, picked up our rental and drove to Great Notion Georgetown to pick up my online order. Surprised they had Mail Owl cans for in person purchase. So grabbed 3 4pks and another xtra 4pk of the Sound. So a total of 24 cans. No time to sit and enjoy a pint there. Kinda small and hidden behind another brewery. Drove out to my college buddy’s place in Snohomish. We bbq’d salmon and filet mignon while drinking the CA cans I brought with me. Next morning drove down to Puyallup to spend the next 3 nights there. Hanging out with bro-n-law and his family. Celebrating my nieces first born son. He had some complications so he was in ICU for 2 weeks (including the time we were there). So we spent some time at the hotel rooms drinking/eating and also hit up Rainer Growlers. Monday was a nice day for some hiking up along Hwy 90. Headed back to Tacoma to Duke’s on the Waterfront for lunch. Had a Bale Breaker IPA. Standard ipa. Better than bud or koors. Went straight to Peaks & Pints for the rest of my fresh wet hop cans to consume and take back home. We did walk to Tacoma Boys Puyallup from our hotel on Sunday. Monday night we ate and drank some more WA greatness and was blessed to hear that my niece’s son was released From ICU/hospital that early evening. They did a quick drive by our hotel so we were able to see him before flying back Tuesday morning. So a blessed trip for sure. Thanks to y’all recommendations.
